The hotel is easy to get to from public transportation and just by walking alone. It is close enough to a monoprix and walkable to galleries lafayette gourmet. Didn't use the laundry, didn't need to. I was interested in how it worked though. It would have been nice if someone would tell us how it worked when we checked in. Our unit was fine. We were on the first floor. We didn't realize until the final days that there is a switch to turn these gates on the windows to wipe out light completely! I did not like that there was no vent in the bathroom. It would get very steamy in there with no place to go! the towels were also terrible. thin and like sandpaper. I had to go to reception to get more. I don't like how they don't even clean once when you are there a whole week. The wi-fi was fine. you can always get on. and if you get bumped, just re log in. the dishwasher wasn't great though. i needed to hand wash dishes. overall, the place was fine. the service was helpful. i left a couple of items in the room and they asked me for my cc info and shipped it back to me. Overall, the place was fine. I would go back.

Pro: close to Metro stop and Champs Elysee; equipped kitchen; decent sized apartment

Con: A frequent vibrating, loud noise could be heard from apartment (201) during day and night. Not sure of the cause but it is loud enough to keep you up at night! Reported to management but nothing fixed during our stay; no complimentary servicing for a 4 night stay but you can pay and get this done or request new towels; shower pressure poor- apparently due to "eco" initiative - which doesn't extend to electricity cutting out on exiting room; room smelt like smoke even though it was a smoke-free room; curtains do not block out daylight fully; supermarket is a distance from property; several steps from hotel entry to lifts (may be problem for those with mobility difficulties).

We were in a room at the back so traffic noise from the boulevard wasn't a problem. Note that there is a communal washing and one drying machine available on 1st floor - cost 5 and 2.50 euro- make sure you have correct change as reception are unable to help break notes. Machine supplies detergent as part of wash cycle. Linen was clean but bathrooms need a proper scrub to remove mould.

From my experience in Paris, it's very hit and miss and it's hard to find a good hotel at a decent price - no matter where you stay.

Pros:
- Decent location
- Moderately priced (if this hotel was anywhere else in the world I would say it is overpriced but in Paris you will pay a premium no matter what hotel you stay at)
- Clean
- Staff gave me an early check in
- The hotel will hold your bags if you have to check out but don't leave until later
- Nice bathroom
- Lady staff member at check in was very friendly
- Close to Miromesnil Metro Station
- Only two stops away (on the metro) from the Roissybus which takes you to and from CDG

Cons:
- Poorly maintained. Starting to look a bit run down e.g. stained carpet and frayed chair in room
- Smelt like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room
- Towels also smelt like smoke
- Towels were pretty small
- Male staff member at check out wasn't very friendly
- Hair dryer wasn't fantastic but hey, it worked and at least they provided one!

The air conditioning was also a bit noisy but I didn't find this to be too much of a problem, I just had it on a higher fan setting throughout the day to cool the room down and then put it on a lower fan setting at the night to maintain the temperature. This didn't really cause me any problems.

I also didn't find traffic noise a problem. A few people have said that they found it hard to sleep - not the case for me. In any event, you have to expect that in Paris! Most hotels will have a degree of traffic noise.

Overall, I found the hotel pretty decent. I would stay here again but think that management needs to maintain it a bit better (i.e. ensure furnishings are updated etc). Unless you are willing to pay alot more $$$$, you have to expect it may not be all you expect. This is especially so in Paris!

Wow, where do I begin. I am here on business and I have been staying at the Adagio Haussmann for the last 5 weeks. My room reeks of smoke (even though it is a non smoking room) and has an infestation of ants (I informed the front desk a couple times and have yet to see any improvement). I can't use the air conditioning because the vent makes a loud thumping noise constantly. Again, I approached management about it and nothing has been done. I am woken up every couple nights by the loud banging from the vents (other guests attempting to use the ac). The wifi is a joke. If the hotel is booked good luck getting on the wifi. It is slow when it does work and if too many guests are using it you wont be able to connect (good luck sending urgent emails). This place was probably great when it opened but it has not been maintained. Stayed in Paris before and there are plenty of better choices then this one.

I found the hotel/apartments very good. I found it spacious enough with a small kitchen and a reasonable size bedroom come lounge room. The bathroom was clean and servicable. It just took me a while to get used to the different fittings to use the shower. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and location was fantastic not far from champs Elysees or the Opera house. Metro stop nearby and bus out the front. Lots of boutiques and restaurants not in the maiun drag were fantastic and inexpensive.
