we spent 3 days at Ibis Porte de Clichy. It is approximately 7 min walking to the nearest Metro Station. We did not try the food we were taking our breakfast in various places.
I would really commend this hotel: it is clean, comfort beds, not noisy.

After staying here on a coach tour some five years ago, I decided to return as a private customer with my partner. Well, arriving on foot , dragging suitcases, the approach to the hotel was more like a war disaster zone than a chic area of Paris. Having negociated our way into the reception area via a long ramp and a lift in the middle of nowhere, we were pleasantly surprised. First by the friendly reception staff and their willingness to accomodate our requests. Breakfast was extra, however was good value for money and the buffet was always well stocked with everything. There are views of the Eiffel Tower from some of the back facing bedrooms but when the area is re-developed these will be lost.
Close proximity to the Metro and several good restaurants to suit all pockets and all tastes are on the doorstep making this Ibis hotel still a good reliable, value for money, hotel . With a swimming pool, a gymnasium and sauna, several different restaurants this hotel is well worth a visit.

Hard to fault the hotel . very clean , excellent breakfast , nice friendly staff ,choice of eating and drinking areas, close to Metro . Choose top floor west facing for views of Eiffel Tower .
Now it must be said that there is serious construction work (non -hotel) on three sides of hotel , its a shame as it is no fault of Ibis , starts around 7am, quite interesting watching the work progress.
Would still recommend a break here , just dont be put off by the way in, if on foot.

Room Tip: top floor west facing

Hotel location was good, near Metro line and nice bars around. Hotel rooms were small and very hot in the evening. We had to open the window which was great until the builders started early in the morning.

as soon as we arrive, whyle we where taking the lugguage from the van, a man, without saying anything else talk to us with a very unpolite way that we had to move now from the area.
getting in, at the reception, when one of my collegues ask for being introduced on the map about where the hotel was located, the answer was HERE showing the reception as we were brothers of him so when we said to him that he was no so funny, he start to talk to us telling that he was not stupid. (incredible unbelievable). giving the card for the rooms, without explaing anything about timing for breakfast and internet or any facilities, he was continuing taking joke of us.
so asking for the manager he sayd he was the manager on duty.
tomorrow morning I will talk to the real manager. no way that a traveller can be treated in that way at 1 o'clock in the night after 8 ours of travelling.
lucky on the room card there is written that they hope you have nice week end.
if this is the beginning.....
