Not been to Paris before so had no idea of best location for a hotel. This one was really good. Very close to Arc de Triomphe and a gentle stroll took you there in a few minutes. Right at Champs Élysées. Superb. Hotel was really nice. Clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast. You need to check out the cake shops nearby. Perfect wee last minute break and would use this hotel again. I thought it was really good value for money considering the quality of the hotel and the location.

This hotel was excellent value for the money. The breakfast was adequate. The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgable about the city and how to get around. The Metro was less than 15 min walk away. We were happy to find a laundy mat just 10 doors away from the hotel. The internet wouldn't work in the room but there is a nice sitting area off the loby and the internet worked just fine there. The hotel was clean and was just what we expected.

Everything was quite good, but the room is very small. The walls are also thin, so you can hear guests and cleaners walking up and down corridors. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, as you are very close to Arc de Triomphe. Quiet area with food and amenities accessible. Overall good value for money !

The good thing about this hotel is: a walking distance to Arc de Triomphe, to metro, bus and if you are game to walk a little further, Eiffel Tower.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was small for three people. We have to zip up our luggage to walk around the room. However, the room was clean, which is always a plus for me.

It was a hit and miss with the people at the front desk. One was very helpful and friendly with our inquiries, the other personnel was not too keen to help.

If you are planning to take a cab to anywhere, flag them yourself, otherwise, the taxi meter is on as soon as the hotel staff calls for them ( I don't know whether this is a customary or isolated incident). By the time we sat in , the meter was already 8 Euros.

Over all: location, location, location.

We had two nights in Paris, and expected a small room with minimal facilities for a high price. We were there on a special, so paid NZ$300 equivalent for our double room for the two nights. This was less than expected, and our room was a triple, which was much bigger than expected, with bathroom having a bath with shower over it, and plenty of space. Agree the lift was too small for two plus luggage, but overall, when we found out we had breakfast included in our special, and we combined this with absolutely excellent locality for getting out and about to the metro etc as well as being close to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees, we thought we got excellent value for money. Staff were very helpful and polite and organised a pick up for us to head to the airport as well. We would certainly go there again. Maybe we just expect less than others?

Ok, that rating was supposed to be 4.5 out of 5 because of the airconditioning system. They don't turn it on unless it gets really hot. I believe it is controlled by the people at the conceirge. Also because of the tiny lift which can accomodate 1 person+1 luggage at a time.

The sheets weren't changed daily...just the towels. Probably because they are environment-friendly. Dont fret though! Rooms are CLEANED DAILY.

Hotel staff were all friendly and concerned about our well-being. They called a taxi for us and even gave us a wake up call during the wee hours of the night. I couldn't put into words how much I adore them.

Breakfast was standard. NO MEAT, fyi. There are breads, cereals, coffees, teas, orange juice, water.

Our triple Room was big, for us asians. Bathrooms are bigger than the standard american size. It was also at the top most floor so...cool wind :) Beds are comfortable too!

there are 2 metro stops near the place. Around 5 minute walk each and of couse, the infamous arc is around another 5 minute walk from one of the metros. There are a lot of restaurants nearby which can serve as an alternative to restaurants in Champs Elysses.

I highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: not facing the street.

We are no-smokers and were allocated a room which smelled heavely to Tobacco.
We came home and our clothes still smelled to tobacco.

Small rooms but all you need but you can hear everything the neighbours say.
good location.

The childrens triple room was ok.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
WITHIN CLOSE DISTANCE FROM THE REKNOWN CHAMPS ELYSEES COME TO QUIET, YET MODERN PLACE The hotel is set in a construction dating back to the early twentieth century and surrounded by typical buildings of Haussmann architecture in the 17th arrondissement. While being just a ten-minute walk away from the Arc of Triumph and the Champs-Elysees Avenue, this 40-bedroom contemporary hotel entails an enclosed garden, a bar, a 24h-around-the-clock front desk and offers cosiness and refinement in every room. In 2013 the hotel underwent revamping and inspiration was taken out of Flaubert’s novels (There’s a Flaubert street nearby). Look all around you and you are bound to see famous quotes inspired by his many journeys in the East, Brittany, Corsica and England. The enclosed garden is a vivid reminder of Flaubert’s original garden of his Normand dwelling, not far from Rouen. Sit down and enjoy a pleasurable relaxing moment. a. . ... more   less
