“Convenient hotel for getting around Paris”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

My wife and I returned yesterday from a weekend stay at the Fertel Maillot. We found the location to be excellent, with all the attractions within easy reach from the hotel using a 3 day Metro vistitors pass 21 Euro each. We found this to be value for money considering the amount of journeys we made over the weekend. We found the Hotel to be very comfortable, the room was a little small but the bedding and the bathroom very clean. We felt that the only improvement that could be made, would be to provide Tea/coffee making facilities in the room this was our only dissapointment with this Hotel. All other aspects of this Hotel we would certainly recommend and would certainly use this Hotel in the future.

The hotel is at few minutes walk to the Etoile Arch of Triumph, near to Palais des Congres (with its shops), and some good restaurants from Porte Maillot.
Another advantage is the Metro and RER station (across the street) - the connection with the main tourist places. Plus the bus and shuttle station for Beauvais or CDG airports.
The personnel is friendly and helpful.
The rooms are medium, but the bathroom is good.
The breakfast is French – tea, coffee, croissants, etc without meat products or eggs, but it’s enough and good quality.
For these reasons, I recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Room on the back side of the hotel are quieter

Central location, only 10 minute walk from the Champs Elysees. Metro station over the road, which was on line 1 which stops at a lot of main tourist attractions. Metro station also had an amazing supermarket- great to stock up on goodies for the hotel room! Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was just enough for us- croissants, yoghurts, fruits, cheese, cereals, toast, bread, teas and coffees! We were nervous after reading reviews that the rooms would be small, but ours was rather spacious. Restaurants literally surounded the restaurant. We recommend Chez Clement over the road, which served hearty French meals. Television was also good, had a wide range of channels where English films were shown often! Overall we loved our stay and we'll stay again!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here over New Year's Eve. The hotel is in a very good location and has several metro stations close by so it's easy to access once you know where your going! The Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysee are just up the road too. We were here for 3 nights, and as soon as we checked in the woman told us the lift wasn't working, and then we found out we were on the 5th floor, which wasn't easy with our suitcases and after a day full of walking that's the last thing you want. The rooms are nice, pretty standard if not quite small, the double bed was very comfy, tv had alot of channels, air conditioning, wardrobe and some small shelves all included so the room was spot on. The bathroom is good, powerful shower and has a bath too. There is a hair dryer on the wall in the bathroom but if you want to dry your hair in less than 2 hours then take your own! Breakfast was served between7-10 but it was really standard!, if you like croissants you'll be fine but it didn't have much more to offer. Overall I would recommend the hotel and probably stay again.

This is a simple, but not basic, hotel conveniently located very close to Porte Maillot. I travelled between Paris CDG and the hotel on Les Cars Air France coaches which stop just around the corner, a 45 minute journey in buses devoid of legroom. The hotel is also very close to an RER and Metro station.

The welcome at the hotel was very professional with the friendly and efficient receptionist speaking fluent English (thankfully). My room was simple - small and clean, but comfortable and quiet.

The tiny breakfast room is in the basement. The meal was not up to the standard of continental breakfasts I have enjoyed elsewhere, where cold meats and cheese are regularly available. However, the bread was wonderfully fresh and the coffee was reviving.

Would I stay there again? Yes, although as there are many hotels in the area I may experiment with other establishments first. The cost was reasonable and probably reflected the nature of the hotel.

We stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon, and were peasantly surprised. We preferred this hotel to its sister one Fertel Etoile. We stayed there three years ago.
Yes the rooms are small, but adequate for our needs. We were out sight seeing all the time. It was clean and fresh towels every day. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was croissants, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cheese and cereal with lovely tea and coffee. The metro is Porte Maillot RER which is just on the corner. We walked though to La Defense, took us about half an hour. Purely choice to see surroudings. Would reccomend going if you like shopping, a large mall with some lovely eateries too.

Room Tip: Room 53 is a double at front of hotel. Top floor. Hotel has a lift.

Stayed here 1 night. Easy to get to from the airport via the shuttle bus (drop off at Porte Malliot). Good location. One of the staff members was very helpful - the other was not. Average rooms - comfortable and clean. Close to the Metro station.
