We recently took a weekend trip to Paris and stayed at the Mercure Paris Arc de Triomphe Etoile. We took the RER to the city and then the metro line 4 to Ternes, the metro station was less than a block away from the hotel. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast buffet seemed really good, although we never had breakfast there. Theres a supermarket right next door where you can buy fruit and breakfast things, wine, etc. There's a Paul's bakery across the road and a sandwich place right next door as well.
The staff at the hotel was really nice, the only downside was that our room was right by a room called staff room and it was quite noisy during the mornings. Other than that we loved the hotel and would definitely come back.
