This was my first visit and I was surprised how small the room was. I realised later that this is standard for Paris hotels. If you want space, get an apartment (which we did for the later weeks in Paris).
That said, this is a very comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. (I arranged for stuff to be delivered to the hotel before I arrived, which the staff handled very well.) The room was surprisingly efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our week in this hotel. The buffet breakfast deserves a special mention - it was simply fantastic. You have a full choice of any from of breakfast from British/Australian to Continental. The breads, hams and cheese were truly wonderful.
The hotel is close to many restaurants and brasseries, which makes dining out easy. It is also a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe, which I was able to visit and photograph both day and night. It also close to the Champs Elysees for high end shopping. Opposite you have FNAC (books, records, photo etc) and a Monoprix (supermarket, bottle shop) is two doors down so you can get normal necessities easily.More
