“Weekend away with Riviera Travel at Ibis Paris, Bercy Village”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

We have just spent a weekend 31.6.13, at the Ibis Hotel. Having traveled on Eurostar.
This is a nice clean hotel with helpful staff. The guide from Riviera Travel, 'Richard' was very good and always available.
The hotel breakfasts are very good, there are numerous restaurants in village. The drinks are expensive as is the food. The FROG bar is good value still 6.50 euro a time.
In all good value for money.
Lots and lots of sights to see, the weekend is'nt long enough

Room Tip: All rooms appear quiet, Not large but more that adequet space

An ideal hotel for a few days. Bercy is just a few stops on the smart 14 line metro, which is one of the best in Paris. Whilst not within walking distance of the main tourist attractions, its only a few stops away from Notre Dame, and Bercy is a lovely urban village location with cafes and restaurants and a nice park. Its also quiet as city hotels go.

The hotel is fairly generic Ibis, but on the smarter end of the chain, and definitely has a restaurant at the upper end of those found in the chain. Helpful multilingual staff

Would definitely stay again, and dont let the out of centre location put you off

Just had 3nights at the Ibis in Bercy (26-29 Apr) Clean room, good powerful shower, very polite staff and I must admit I ate like a horse on the breakfasts: ham, honey, cheeses, cereals, crepes, just about anything you could want(not fry'ups!).Try the 'Frog' pub - 6 locally brewed beers, all 6.50Euros. Be VERY careful on the Metro (had a camera nicked at Chatelet) just 2 hours before coming home! the pictures on the memory card were priceless!! Ce-la-Vie?

Room Tip: Good views from the 8th (top) floor of the Eiffel Tower (about 2mile? away)

We had booked two double rooms and we were very happy that we got connecting rooms, it helped to access the other room whithout getting out from the room. Metro is very close by and is well connected with the city. Staffs were very friendly and food was also up to our expectations. We enjoyed a lot...

It's an Ibis, so its clean, practical and covers all the basics. The rooms are small, but if you want clean, warm and comfortable accommodation with a comprehensive breakfast, - this is fine for you.The location is excellent in that there are numerous shops and restaurants on the doorstep - as is the Metro station which is only 15 minutes from the centre of Paris. Would definately re-visit.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms come with a Tower view.

First trip to Paris and went with Riviera Travel to Bercy Village. This was a super little location just at the Cour San-Emillion Metro. The area had bars, restaurants, supermarket and a burger van! and it was in an area that had offices so when the working day was done there was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere but not too busy. Hotel had rooms that were small but 'perfectly formed'. The bed and pillows were excellent, super nights sleep, we were on the 5th floor and did not hear any noise. Breakfasts were continental but very varied, lovely bread and excellent coffee also some kind of 'potato omelette' which was warm and tasty. Would definitely go there again and with Riviera Travel - couldn't praise them highly enough

Stayed at this hotel on a 3 night break with Riveria Travel. The hotel was spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms with walk in showers, clean towels each day and very helpful staff throughout. Breakfast was continental style with plenty of choice and the drinks in the bar weren't overpriced either. We loved that this hotel is very close to the Metro Station so very easy access into central Paris where everything was almost double the price of the restaurants in Bercy Village around the Hotel Ibis. We ate out for the 3 nights, first night Hippopotamus, nice steak but service took a long time but then I suppose we had nothing to rush for, apart from being pretty hungry after a full day travelling. Second night Chez Bruno, typically French and very different from Hippo, but certainly ticked all the boxes, very nice indeed but the best meal for all members of our party (5 of us ranging in age from 20 to 80) was Chai 33, lovely surroundings, great food and a sommelier who knew her stuff about choosing wines. So to sum up I would definitely stay at the Hotel Ibis Bercy Village on any future visits to Paris and can certainly recommend Riveria Travel, their tour guide Libby was lovely and had a wealth of knowledge about the whole of Paris and its surrounding districts.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 4th floor, no view to speak of but was a nice quiet room overlooking the nearby...
