ibis Paris Bercy Village 12eme

This was our first stay in an Ibis hotel and it won't be the last! The Ibis Bercy village is located at the heart of a very hip and trendy area of Paris. Bercy Village has many excellent Bistros and wine bars and the hotel is only 100m from the centre and a two minute walk from the Metro.

We spent an excellent long weekend with Riviera Travel and the hotel was an excellent base for this type of short break. The rooms are spotlessly clean. They aren't the biggest but if you want space, book a room in a hotel next door to the Beckhams. The rooms were well equipped but didn't have any tea / coffee making facilities. However, these could be purchased from the bar and taken up to the room. The bar / restaurant was excellent. Again , spotlessly clean and service with a smile. We had one evening meal there on the first night and this was very good- no complaints at all. Breakfast was also very nice. Typical continental affairs but very nice. It was a help yourself buffet style breakfast and you never felt rushed at all.

The showers were very hot and the sheets were changed every day that we were there. We were in a first floor room facing all of the bistros and wine bars. Despite this the soundproofing was excellent and we couldn't hear any noise from the outside at all. We were next to the stairs and lift but again, slept soundly and were not woken up at all.

We would return again to Paris soon and if doing so independently we would try to book into the Ibis Bercy Village. Can't think of a better plug for the place than that!

I'd also like to plug for Riviera travel.....absolutely brilliant!

Stayed here last weekend whilst on a Riviera holiday. It was a nice hotel, clean & comfortable with a good selection at the continental breakfast. Bercy village has many little restaurants & cafes & the Metro, Cour Saint-Emilion, is very near for a short journey into the centre of Paris. Can recommend if you just need a good base whilst sighteeing Paris.

Have just returned from a weekend break in Paris with Riviera Travel. 15th to 18th March.
Staying at the Ibis, Bercy Village. The Hotel was excellent, very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Near the Metro station, and from some rooms you can see the Eiffel Tower.
Riviera have an interesting schedule, using a coach to take guests on comprehensive sightseeing tours of Paris. With a very helpful and knowledgeable tour manager.

Stayed here because the conference in the Pullman hotel was quite nearby and the rates there were sky high. I always find that Ibis hotels are good value, clean and I find that the charge for breakfast is fair. Also if you book in advance, you can usually get a good deal if you pay up front. It's nice and close to a good selection of newish restaurants, so there's no shortage of places to eat - including a craft brewery, which is quite rare in France. Connections to public transport are very convenient, and once you have access to the metro in Paris, you are sorted.

Room Tip: I always go for a high room - tends to help keep the noise down if I want to sleep with the window o...

should take another hotel. But you are in Paris, so you do not need more than a bed and a clean bathroom. The rooms are small, but clean. The bathroom is okay, too. The breakfast is also quite good. The very big advantage is the nearby metro station and the very nice Bercy Village around the hotel.

If you are looking for something in Paris that is close to the RATP/subway and a nice neighborhood, Ibis Paris Bercy Village would be definitely a great choice.

It is just beside the Bercy Village, where you can shop, dine, and hang out. The hotel is only 3-5 minutes walk to the subway station. My husband and I did grocery shopping too at the Bercy Village (to shop for breakfast).

The hotel room is very clean, spacious and neat, good size and lots of shelves for you to organize things. Great service from staff. Free Wi-Fi service was great. The dining place inside the hotel opens late hours if not 24 hours.

There is a taxi station just behind the hotel, for those who need to take a taxi, it is definitely convenient. There are also 2 trolleys you can borrow to wheel your luggage to the taxi.

For booking reference, there is a 21 days advance discount. If you book 21 days prior to arrival, there is a better rate.

This hotel is located at Cour St Emillion, a former warehouse of wines, now converted into a shopping mall, and Bercy. There are many restaurants and pubs in the area. There is also a cinema. It is easily accessible by tube line 14.
Staff is very friendly.
The restaurant offers daily menu but you can also chose à la carte including choices of pasta or pizza.
Rooms are very comfortable, some have view on the Library Mitterard (located at the opposite site of the Seine).
The weekend rates are usually ok but the week rate is a little overpriced.

Room Tip: Take room with view on the Mitterard library (towers)
