Nice hotel with biggish family rooms (we were 2 adults and 2 kids). Clean and comfortable. Really good location - easy walk to Eiffel tower. Helpful staff!More

We made reservations too late - only 2 weeks before an event we wanted to attend - and it was difficult to find a room. We were happy to be able to reserve a delux room for two here, at around 220 Euros per night. At that price we expected something a bit luxurious, a bit special. What we got was a room that was fairly small, with a nice, newly reonovated bathroom, and good service from the reception. Definately worth maybe $200 per night, but not the price we paid.
We were on the first floor near the street, and it was reasonably quiet most of the time, but you could hear the occasional drunk or moto passing by during the night. Wifi access was included, but you can't simply access the hotel's router, you need to use a card with a code each time, and it was out of service for several hours one day. The breakfast (also included) was pretty decent - except for the coffee, which was luke-warm and contained chicory.
Thank you for your feedback. You came in the very high season and our rates were high as Paris was fully booked. We also have very low rates in the low season which start from July 14, 2012.
We would like to apologize concerning the wifi service which had some problems. We are going to install a new wifi service soon.
We hope that you enjoyed Paris,
I was visiting Paris for one night, so wanted to stay somewhere close to the venue with no hassle. My room was very small, but as it was just me this did not matter. However, the room and bathroom were spotless and the shower had decent water pressure. The staff spoke English well, and even when I lost my room key this was resolved without fuss. Overall a good stay with great value for money.
Thank you for your comments. We are pleased that you enjoyed the staff and service.
We hope to welcome you again,
a quaint clean hotel which is within easy reach of restaurants, bars, off sales lol and other attractions such as the Notre Dam Cathedral, the canal or the Lourve Museum. We had a great relaxing break and would recommend as the price was reasonable and the easy access to the rail network was a bonus! We ate out on all nights and found the food tasty and reasonable in price

This nice quiet hotel is next to everything. Easy to find in a great neighborhood. Had that great local locale and not inundated with tourist location issues. Easy to find from metro. Great service and beautiful courtyard. Slept comfortably.
Bakeries and grocery stores are all nearby.

We recently spent four nights in Paris and booked this hotel via Eurostar. Price was reasonable. Location was convenient. Room was clean and more spacious than expected and the staff were pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a room that overlooked the lovely gardens of the Prime Minister's residence (although, we weren't aware at the time and thought it a small, possibly private, park.) We did not have breakfast in the hotel as we had read the previous comments and found the wonderful little boulangerie just around the corner on Babylone that offered a very nice €4.30 breakfast of hot drink, fresh juice and croissant or pastry of our choice.
Our one complaint and for us, it is considerable, is that we felt security was non-existent. First, we were instructed to leave our room key at reception upon leaving the hotel and when we returned from a day of sightseeing, we would usually encounter a different member of staff. All we had to do was ask for the key. Never were we asked for any identification. We could have been anyone. On our third day, I asked the receptionist how he knew we were the people in our room and he said, "because you asked for the key." A simple request as to the surname of the room's inhabitants and checking this against the register, would be at least a step in the right direction. Second, the safe in the room was a complete joke. Even if we had been okay with a €100 deposit for the key and lock barrel, the unit was not bolted to the wall inside the cupboard where we found it. My husband was able to pick it up and walk around the room with it under his arm with the bolts dangling off the rear side.
One important consideration for us when booking a hotel is whether or not there is an in-room safe so that we can leave our passports, money and other valuables secure whilst we're out and about. In this case, we had to carry everything with us and with the prevalence of some dubious characters around the museums and monuments, it put a damper on our trip.
Please accept our apologizes about the safe who was not fixed on the wall. All our safes are fixed but this one had a problem and we repaired it since your departure.
Concerning the safety of the hotel, as it is a small hotel, we choose keys that guest must bring back to the reception in order to see the guest. In most hotels, now guest have a vigicard and do not go to the reception before entering thier room.
Of course, our staff sees guests entering in the room and we also have some videos in the hotel.
We are sorry if you felt unsafe but we would like to inform you that our hotel is located in one of the safest area of Paris as we are close the Prime Minister and many embassies protected by the police.
We thank you for your comment as we are very attentive to improve our service.
