The hotel is very nice inside but the room was too little and the view from the windows was not so beautiful as it overlooked the internal court, but the bed was very comfortable and we were provided even for a bathrobe. The position is quite far from the main attractions and the railway station but it is just behind the Hard Rock Cafè. The hotel staff was kind and available to give asked information. We appreciated the cleanliness.

Small Hotel in the 9th arrondissement close to the main shopping centres and surrounded by small bakeries and restaurants.
Nothing too fancy about this hotel but we chose it mostly because of its location. We had a quite nice room, though a bit small, but that's Parisian standard and we didn't expect too much as well. Breakfast in the morning was light with a good bakery selection.
I would rate it a medium hotel but don't mind going there again on my business trips in Paris.

I stayed at the Pulitzer for 4 nights. I picked the Pulitzer as i know the hotel from Amsterdam.
I had a kind check-in, which went very quick and at a standard service. Although i didn't need help to assist me to my room, nobody asked me or provided any assistance. Heading to room, i had difficulty with finding the room as some light in the corridor was not working.
My room was average size, with a modern bathroom at a bigger size.
Although my room was at the front of the bulding, it was quiet thanks to the double windows. Bedsize is 160. All utilities in the bathroom working perfect.
Breakfast starts at 7AM. Buffet is clean and offers the most necesairy, although kindness of the breakfast lady was far from polite, nor friendly. Goodmorning, bonjour, words she apparently doesn't know. The milk for the cerial was over date and no explanation about coffee. It felt like a self-service restaurant on a bad highway.
Although my room rate had breakfast included, i did not go back the other days.
Ordering a taxi every morning was a real task. Took always 10 to 15 minutes every time as explanation was that at 7.30-8AM, getting a taxi is difficult.
The cleaning of room was average, as the sink was not completely cleaned after i shaved in the morning. I had an empty plastic bottle standing next to my bed since day one. When i left day 4, the bottle was still there.
The service overall was not genuine and felt if employees did not like their job.
Sorry Pulitzer, i do not come back.

The bathrooms are all updated nicely, up to Western expectations. Some rooms are great, others are awkward. It's worth it to upgrade to a suite. The staff can be a bit useless. Great bakeries and grocery stores nearby, but still a bit of a walk to most sites in Paris. Different and modern hotel though, worth a shot if you're looking for something different and decently priced in Paris.

The staff at this hotel is of absolutely no help. I booked the hotel for Sept. 5-9, but when I received the confirmation it was for April 25th... the same day I made the reservation. I immediately called the booking agency and they said they would call the hotel and work with them to change the booking to the correct dates.

The agency called the hotel and they said the person to approve that was gone for the day but they would talk to them later. The next correspondence I received was that they had already charged the card and because I didn't cancel in time. As I'm in California and they're in Paris calling immediately after booking I would have still been trying to cancel the day of. I asked if they would give me a credit for the stay on the correct days they said no.

If a hotel isn't willing to work with people before they get there, there's no way that they are going to be any help when you're there.

I give this hotel 5 stars we had some room issues but the staff, management went out of there way to look after us!
we have just got back from our 5 night stay at this hotel
we booked a club room but please note that the pics of the club rooms on some sites like hotels.com are not the same as the room you might get
EG we saw club room photos of a room in the eves of the building and that is not what we got the first night we check in, I really feel these rooms should be Club room deluxe as my understanding is they only have 6 of them on the top floor (but maybe they have more) the other rooms are a lot smaller don't have a bath and the shower is in a dark cupboard like area these should be just a club room! and then they also have standard rooms
Keep in mind it is a small hotel only 46 rooms so we really ran into other people
It is the quietest hotel we have ever stayed in first night we were at the front of the hotel with double glazed windows plus a 2nd window, 2 door entry into our room which made it super quiet
breakfast was very good, I do think it could change each day with something new but we had a selection of whole fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juices, cold meats fresh cut fruit, selection of good french bakery, toasted sandwiches, cheeses, scrambled eggs and sausages as well as quality coffee
But the best thing about this hidden gem is how close it is to things like the metro which you can walk to 4 stations within 5 to 10 minutes - 15 minutes to a direct line to Disneyland which is 45 minutes on the train
Also a little note look at the 5 day unlimited transport passes unto zone 5 we paid just over 50 euro well worth the money our room was 511

Room Tip: CLUB FOOR TOP ROOMS LEVEL 5 other club rooms are smaller on the below floors
