“what a great place to stay”
Reviewed August 19, 2011

We stayed here with our son, daughter in law and two granddaughters for 5 days. This was a wonderful, charming hotel in a great location. Breakfast every morning was wonderful. The staff was exceptional. I lost my purse with credit cards and they took care of helping me cancel the cards. I would encourage everyone to stay at this charming boutique hotel.

We stayed at this cozy hotel during our visit to paris and found the staff to be super friendly. The hotel itself is small and is set in an "old" Parisian house. When you look out of your French windows to the buildings on the other side of the road you can see friendly tailors making all kinds of clothes.
The room was nicely decorated. We did find our 4-person room to be very small for a family of 4. The bed and sleeper sofa were nearly touching each other (!!!) and there was little space to store our luggage. This wasn't really a problem for us as we only had one day in Paris and we only used the room for sleeping. I would only recommend this room for 2 people or for a family traveling with young children and only a little luggage.

The breakfast was lovely and in a great "arty" setting.

My husband and I stayed here with my brother-in-law. We had booked a room for the 3 of us but the room we were given was a small double room with a chair that pulled out to a single bed. With the chair bed pulled out you could barely walk between it and the real bed. This was not what I expected from the online description so I checked back with the staff at the front desk who somewhat rudely told me that it was the room I had booked and they couldn't do anything about it (I think because I had booked through Expedia). Brother in law ended up getting his own room which was twice the size of ours with a separate sitting area!

The location was decent - reasonably close to multiple metro and train stations but not really anywhere to eat right around the hotel. We also went the wrong way from the metro one night and ended up in a bad part of town walking past a fight in the street. Be careful when trying to judge distances on maps, Paris is huge!!

The hotel and room itself were beautiful and clean.

Spent two nights here with two friends. Room was perfect for what we were looking for, a convenient Paris crash-pad (ie we returned very late making use of the 24hr concierge and did not wake up for breakfast).

The staff were friendly and obliging, happily speaking English or indulging my bad French.

The room was a decent size, comfortably fit 3 people. The room had air conditioning. Oddly the bathroom was nearly as big as the shower. In general, more than I expected from an European 3 star hotel. A few have commented on the location but have to say we found it fine.

The only downside was that the room was not quite ready when we returned but that was quickly remedied.

(Given average rather than good purely because we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel)

Stayed here with husband and teenage daughter. room was small but only used for sleeping in. Staff were great, brought pillows and extra blankets within minutes of asking. we felt breakfast at 14 euros each was expensive and instead walked to the main road and ate for less than 10 euros for 3 of us! The hotel is in a dark alley but we never felt unsafe. its a great location for eating and drinking in the evening. walking distance from Hard Rock Cafe.

We spent 4 days at the WHO on our Paris London excusion. This place was very nice , our room was small but very accomadating. The staff where friendly and helpful with directions and attractions. A hot breakfast was available for an additional cost but was well worth the price. The hotel it self is about a 25-30 walk from the Gare de Nord and a 10 min walk to the subway, making it easy to get to the Lourve or the tower. The hotel is definitely out of the way, down a small one way lane and even a cab driver missed the lane, but again it was easly to get around with the metro. Overall we enjoyed our saty and would do it again when in Paris.

Location is convenient and close to many eating places. Our room was small but reasonably comfortable. There was an excellent English style breakfast. No English language television for our entire three-day stay.

The entrance is off a small street that looks like an alley, however, we felt safe traversing it at night.

Room Tip: No English language television for our entire three-day stay. For some reason the hotel does not pro...
