Absolutely perfect. This hotel is ideally located in western Paris, near the famous shopping street "rue de Passy" a highlight for all Paris shopping lovers, and also 10 minutes walf from the beautiful Eiffel tower.

A nice place where my wife and I, will love to stay again when we are next in Paris.
This hotel has no parking, but a public parking located 2 minutes walk from the hotel solves what could be otherwise a problem.

The room is attractive and nicely furnished, the bed is confortable, and the service perfect.

The only problem we fear: the ability for us to book a room again in this hotel if too many people like us love this charming French hotel.
A must in Paris at reasonable price.

Room Tip: We staid in room # 50, with a nicely furnished bath room (old french style ), and we enjoyed this ro...

Dear guest,

We thank you kindly for taking the time to write a review on TripAdvisor following your stay in January with us.

Hotel Best Western Premier Trocadero La Tour is located at a really good walking distance from the Eiffel Tower in a most pleasant living area of Paris called Passy. As mentioned, we do not have parking facilities inside our property, nevertheless a secured close by public parking is available at a charge.

We understand your fear and recommend to tell to your friends and family not to come at the same time as you in Paris and let us known when you plan your next visit in order to guarantee our availability.

We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to meet you again on that occasion

Best regards.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days with our two children. The staff were friendly and spoken english quite well. They were also helpful and were able to arrange for a babysitter to come to our room one night so that we could hit the town.

Pros - The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The mini bar prices were good (4 euro for a vodka) and the bathrooms had fantastic showers. Nice and powerful. Free Wi-Fi. We felt very comfortable and looked after and safe. We were also very close to the action and for the price the room itself was excellent.

The cons - No where to smoke. You have to do it out the front of the hotel. Breakfast is 19 euro per person and only continental. There are no facilities, like a gym or pool. Only a small bar that is generally un inhabited. No english TV or pay tv. Only french free to air channels so it was hard to entertain the kiddies. No actual restaurant so room service takes about an hour as the food comes from other properties

If you are looking for a very comfortable room that is 15 minutes walk from the Eiffel tower and has lots of nice little shops and restaurants in walking distance, and you do not require any facilities other than your bed and a beer, then this place is perfect. If you are looking for a bit of pampering or entertainment within your hotel then this is not the place for you.

Also babysitting is quite pricy in Paris. It cost is 120 euros for 5 hours!!

Room Tip: Ask for a family room. They are only a few euros more but a good size. Buy snacks if you think you...

Dear guest,

We thank you kindly for taking the time to write a review on TripAdvisor following your stay in January with us.

Your comments are very much taken to heart, especially when children are concerned. We are working on some more international and kids TV program, on top of existing ones. We do also agree that babysitting is pricy as we wanted to make sure that hired person would speak English.

Regarding breakfast, we do have buffet possibility with selection of cereals, cheeses, cold cuts and minute eggs at 19 euro, as well as continental or express offers.

Glad you have enjoyed one of our recently refurbished family room. We do have several of them up to 3 or 4 persons.

We shall be happy to welcome you and your family again in a near future in order to enjoy our improvements.

Best regards.

Me and my partner stayed here for one night and got a great deal from Lastminute.com. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were friendly. The only downfall of the hotel is that the walls are very thin.
The area is very upmarket and friendly, however finding traditional French food was a problem, lots of over priced Italian restaurants. There is a lovely French market which sold French food and wine, so we went with this option and took it back to our hotel room instead.

Glad you have enjoyed staying with us. Located in the residential Parisian area of Passy, during festive season, many French nearby restaurant are closed. We would have been happy to recommend some other French restaurant available in Paris with little transportation.

Do not hesitate to contact us directly for your next trip.

This Hotel is located at "Passy", an upscale Residential and Commercial area. Passy is very quiet and is at 20 minutes walk from Paris Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower, 20 more walking minutes and will end at the Champs Elysee. This Hotel is small with good taste and very good service. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Excellent Stores, Boutiques and Restaurants are at walking distance. Will try it again in a future visit to Paris.

Stopped here for the first time, good position for sightseeing, shops, and our business. The bedrooms were small, but the bed a king and comfortable. Bathroom small but nice. Breakfast minimal, but staff very helpful. I would use this Hotel again.

I had stayed very long time ago in this hotel and I remembered it was just OK for a very good location. This time I was disappointed. I was given a 'CLASSIC' room which is not more than 8 square meters! I really felt bad, I could not move; this is a size that should be forbidden to be rented in hotels for humans! Anyway, I complained and after spending the first night in this box-room, I was given another room for the other 2 nights. Sleeping quality, comfort, cleanses and lighting are fine. Breakfast is basic (for 19 € you can find better) and in rush hours the service is chaotic. The lift is very slow and can hardly accommodate 2 persons. That's why you see often people using the stairs instead of the lift. In the bathroom there was water leaking....WiFi is free and was working at an acceptable speed.
To conclude: for nearly 190 € per night you can try and find better options

Room Tip: Avoid classic rooms!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your stay in December.

Our Classic room has an average size of 15m2 – 161sqf, which can be felt as not very large. As you may know, room size in Paris is limited and cannot be compared to many international cities. Nevertheless, Hotel Best Western Trocadero La Tour has several room categories up to Family rooms who can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.

Following your remark and availability, we were happy to upgrade you to a superior room category and make your stay much more enjoyable.

Thank you also to have mentioned the water leak, as we are very concerned about environment.

We shall be happy to welcome you again.

Best regards.

I am reviewing this a bit distant from my travels last fall (September 2012), but I would gladly return once I save up enough folding cash for another European outing!

This hotel was located in A GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD. It was not overtly touristy; and though there were high-buck boutiques around, there were also (within walking distance):
1. Delis
2. Bakeries
3. Cafes
4. A GROCERY STORE
5. Mono Prix -aka MONDO PRIXO as we came to call it- a sort of smaller Target, but French!
6. Specialty Foodie Stuff Gah-lore!
7. A mall with the chain stores the teenybopper with us really dug (H&M,etc). Compared to our home in the land of the MegaMall, this was actually kind of cute!
8. Metro station- you are a ticket away from all the major museums, for CHEAP!
9. Small dogs- watch your step, both for dogs and their... leavings!
10. Eiffel tower- watch your purse!

Of all the amazing stuff we experienced (or tried to amongst the throngs at high season), shopping around and visiting with all of the locals who suffered our feeble but persistent attempts at speaking French really were probably the most fun and memorable part of the trip!

The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel tower at a leisurely pace, 3 blocks from a Metro station, a longer hike to the Orsay/Louvre (a day pass for the boat tour served well for this).

You could be closer to the big attractions, museums, or fancypants shopping on the Champs Elysees, but you will pay a ridiculous tourist premium to do so, as far as we could determine. A cafe a la creme standing at the cafe bar in Passey was 2 Euros; sitting at a cafe by the Eiffel tower was 10 Euros (I am not complaining, but we should have had more sense before we sat down- doh!)

The room size for this hotel is pretty standard from what I have experienced previously in Europe. Space is at a premium, so you are not going to get a 2,500 sq feet of hotel luxury for a hondo! The room was clean and well appointed, and the the hotel was comfortable, safe, and quiet (except on trash/ recycling day in certain rooms). You have amazing food, shopping, and mostly local foot traffic surrounding the hotel.

(This was my first trip to Paris. I was anxious due to my understanding of the common stereotypes of the French, the language, and the expense. With a bit of research and practice beforehand, these anxieties were baseless. Use your head, use your legs, get an iPhone app and learn some basic phrases. I found the Rick Steve’s series very helpful, as well as the SpeakeasyFrench App which has audio pronunciation of common phrases.)

Room Tip: The outward, street-facing rooms have great views of the neighborhood. However, it sounded like the...
