Good location
Friendly service and front desk. Very helpful.
Room was too small (Probably what one should expect for Paris)
Expensive (even with a 40% discount)
Clean room and bathroom.
Would stay there again (with a discounted price - otherwise too expensive for the space you get)

Room Tip: Newly renovated rooms

We got our three night stay through avios so it was free. The hotel is a 50 minute drive from charles de gualle airport it cost 55 euros, and a twenty minute drive to Orly airport. Our room was 113. We had twin beds pushed together which had a habit of rolling apart, the bed cover was frayed and could have done with being replaced, the room was also very small which is if you are out sight seeing most of the timer is not a problem, mattress was nice and firm but pillows were awful. The traffic on the street can be quite noisy there is double glazing but it doesn't keep the noise out. The bathroom was worn, mold along bottom of shower door, after my first shower there was more water on the floor of the bathroom than was in the bath the concertina door just did not work at all which ever way you tried to position it, had to use towels to soak it up, you have to take the plug out because you keep standing on it to get under the shower very bad design. Also awful smell in there overnight there is no window or extraction fan. We asked advice from reception twice. Once for information about the best local restaurants and secondly would the shops be open on a Sunday, we were told that it was a 10 minute walk to a decent restaurant and that the shops were shut in Paris on a Sunday and there might be a few open on the champs élysées. Well there is a great little restaurant 20 yard away on the opposite side of the road to your right as you exit the hotel called copernica, three course menu for 35 euros, because we didn't want dessert too full from fab dinner they gave us a free bottle of red wine, and all the shops are open everywhere in the main tourist areas it was full of tourists shopping, I began to wonder if the receptionist lived in Paris.we did tell her that the shower was pouring water everywhere but she said someone had looked and it wasn't a problem. English is spoken everywhere we went and even when we attempted French they put us out of our misery by taking over in English, even the menus all had English versions. I would not stay at this hotel again as there seemed lots of others to choose from in this brilliant location the hotle needs modernising and the rate you pay for a stay here seems evpensive for what you recieve. But Paris was fantastic went to Barcelona on a similar trip felt safer in Paris and the people were lovely.

Room Tip: Don't choose 113

We selected the small Hotel de Sevigne on the recommendation of a neighbor. We arrived early, were told that our room was not ready and were offered to have our bags stored in a room behind the desk. We went exploring the neighborhood and upon our return a short while later the owner offered us tea and a cookies to warm us up while we waited for the room. The person behind the desk, Aura Leigh, was a young, pleasant woman who, from the moment we met her, went out of her way to accommodate us. Realizing our French language handicap she spoke English and made us feel comfortable. All the staff was courteous and helpful. We stayed 5 days then went off for 8 days and returned to the hotel for our last night in France. Aura Leigh made the cab arrangements to the train station and the airport. The rooms and beds were comfortable and recently renovated. We relied exclusively on the Metro system for transportation and were delighted to find out from Aura Leigh that the hotel was located between 2 stops on nearby Kleber. The Arc De Triumph and the Champs Elysee were within walking distance, as were restaurants and shops on Kleber, just around the corner from the hotel. We will definitely return to the Hotel de Sevigne if we return to Paris. As my wife just said, "It was a home away from home."

Room Tip: Both rooms we stayed in were fine, but the newly renovated room, just above the first one we stayed...

Just off the Avenue Kleber mid way between The Arc deTriomphe and The Eiffel Tower this little hotel is comfortable, well positioned, good quality rooms and an excellent continental breakfast. The staff are helpful and we were well looked after on our 5 day stay, so much so we'll be going back for our Ruby Aniversary in 2 years time

Room Tip: Quiet where ever you stay in the hotel

This conveniently situated and charming hotel is within easy walking distance of two main metro lines and the Arc de Triomphe. From the moment you step in the door you feel a respite from the busy life outside. We particularly enjoyed the well-appointed new décor. Restful colors with a punch of style; beautifully designed and large bathrooms with all of the necessary amenities. The new décor tastefully presents a dash of the Parisian history behind the quaint building. All of this led to an extremely pleasant experience. Breakfast served with hospitality. Helpful staff. We highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is newly redecorated.

We found an online special for the Prestige room at the hotel and sent them an e-mail informing them that we'd be staying there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The staff were friendly and spoke English. They had given us a corner room and greeted us warmly. The hotel is quaint and definitely has character, but the room was clean and light. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again. The Boissiere (Metro line 6) is the closest stop, but Kleber and Victor Hugo are close too. You can walk from the hotel to the Eiffel tower, via Trocadero, easily and with plenty of views.

Room Tip: If you're celebrating a special event, let the staff know, they may assign you a special room...

I stayed for 2 nights for business in this hotel offering good value for money and conveniently located between Trocadero and Arc the Triumph, both within walking distance. Tube station 2 mn walk. I was in a newly refurbished Prestige room, very comfortable bed, good use of space, nice clean bathroom with separated loo. Wifi a bit slugish but fine. Staff friendly and smilling.
