“Luxury hotel in centre of Paris!”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

We took my points to best use I would say, luxury hotel with reasonable prices, superb rooms though small (only for 1 couple). very close to eiffel tower, but little farther to Champs de elysee. Parking is to be paid (30 Eur per night).
superb breakfast - Fresh high quality juices, best french bakery to boast!

Will come again to dream city to enjoy this hotel experience!!!

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms should be better I think, dont miss Breakfast even if its costly . It is a luxury...

When we arrived (Sept, 18 after reserving in May or June) we were given a room that can best be described as postage stamp sized. When I complained, I was told there were no other rooms available. In apparent recognition that the first room was, to be kind, less than adequate, we were upgraded for the remainder (3 more days) of our stay. Even the new room was not very large. We went from a postage stamp to a Post-it Note sized room. The staff, however was wonderful, considerate, pleasant and helpful.

Room Tip: Do not reserve a classic room or even the level one above classic.

Was staying here by work out weekend. Was not paid by myself, but if i would-really would regret. For this price, such room and service really regretable. I mean it's may be good area, and close to all, but really too much expensive for what it is. At breakfast (strangly served by indian guys who forgot what we asked) we didnt feel that comfortable, as far as it doesnt make for 100%, and u have to ask for all. Of course all overpriced as it is Paris. But even..18eur for glass of whatever champagne..Not ready room on check in.. old bath and so on.. all this for 900euro per night. No, definitely doesn't cost its money. There are more lovely place in this super city!

Dear Guest,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience about the Radisson Blu Le Dokhan's.

Regarding your several comments, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at the hotel as I need to find out what went wrong exactly (for example, quality of service at breakfast, the price per night of your room as our rates are nearly 300€-500€ in July, or your time of check in as we cannot ask ourguest to wait too long at check in).

Regarding the glass of Champagne, I really feel sorry you had this feeling; the price seems high only because we are a world famous Champagne Bar (1st and unique in Paris), dedicated to rare houses or vintages.

Your opinion is really important to us ,so please do not hesitate to contact me, you will help us to improve our service.

Once again, thank you very much indeed.
Sincerely,
Emilien Jaltier

We stayed here on an award stay so we received a standard room and so we weren't expecting that much. This hotel more than delivered. Just walking in the front door, the lovely scent from the wood burning fire in the lobby was a joy. Yep, the elevator is small and elegant. We are two pretty thin people with 2 roller boards, and we just squeezed in. Water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. Turn down service at night, so our towels were refreshed after an afternoon shower. Good attention to detail.
Our room did not include breakfast, but that was no problem as this is Paris, so there were many bars and cafes nearby to have our coffee and croissant in the morning. By taking the formule...coffee, juice, croissant, additional role, jam/butter...at one of them we had a tasty meal for about 8 Euros each. Not as stylish as the hotel's breakfast room for sure, but the formule in any cafe, is usually a good value. Staff at the hotel were very pleasant, and they were kind enough to let me practice my French. True kindness!
As someone else mentioned, there is a self service laundry across the street open every day and a grocery store across the street the other way for extra fruit/snack to have in your room.
Location was good, near the metro, easy walk to Champs Elysee, very safe neighborhood.
We aren't people who notice (or care) if there's a stain or the carpet is worn. Overall, we thought it was a stylish, lovely place to stay with kind people. We'll be back.

I last stayed here about 18 months ago, and after having to change rooms twice, vowed 'never again'! However, it is next to our office, so I tried again. At reception, which is small, there was an American couple arguing about whether they had a reservation. Someone noticed I was waiting, and arrived to check me in. Good service I thought. I also had one of the rooms, 102 I think, executive, which has a large bathroom, and indeed a window, so that you can sit on the loo without your knees touching the wall! It is always fun to work out how the shower works! Good aircon and comfortable bed. Room very pleasant, no marks on the curtains this time. Shame that the stair carpet is still worn, not a good impression. Staff as helpful as ever. I have always liked the atmosphere here.

Room Tip: Try to get the room where the bathroom has a window!

We stayed for two nights here. The hotel is very well located close to Place Trocadero, the metro and Eiffel Tower. Our room was over ornate though comfortable. The bathroom was small by any standards. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast, and they were mean with coffee. Seating for breakfast was on sofas and low chairs, which was not the easiest way of eating croissants and jam. The lift was as other reviewers have said, quaint. Dont take large suitcase and a partner at the same time. Typically Parisien, perhaps, but Paris has better on offer.

Has all the hallmarks of a traditional Parisien Hotel - smallish but very comfortable rooms - triangular shape - quaint lift - as quiet as any Paris hotel can be - very adequate breakfast - excellent location - extremely helpful concierge
