I picked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and I was very pleased with my choice. Stayed at a double room with a balcony on the 5th floor. Hotel rooms are generally small in Paris anyway so I was prepared for the size. While small, the room was cozy and very clean. It had a fridge, a desk, a small closet, and a safe. The bathroom was modern and clean. The shower was amazingly good, especially after a long day roaming around Paris during a heat wave. I like the built-in hairdryer and the slippers that were provided. The only thing I found a little odd was the absence of shampoo but it was easy enough to remedy since there was a grocery/drugstore across the street from the hotel.
Breakfast was substantial - croissants, rolls (the French make the best bread!), different jellies, yogurt, cereals, ham, cheeses, juices, coffee, and tea. Definitely enough to prepare you for a full day in the city.
The location was good as it was about a block away from the Rue de Boulets stop on the 9 line. It was also about a 5-minute walk (or less, depending on your pace, in which case ours was leisurely) to Nation. Nation has both the RER and the regular metro lines to choose from. We found ourselves using mostly the 1 line (heading to La Defense) since they had stops going to the Musee d' Louvre, Champs Elysees, and other major areas of interest.
The service was excellent and the staff, especially front desk/reception, spoke very good English. They did their best to accommodate our needs and requests - from providing converters to talking to our shuttle service for our ride back to the airport.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would come back again.
