“Lovely hotel”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

We stayed for 2 nights in September, we loved everything about this hotel it was spotlessly clean our room was a good enough size, great shower and comfy bed. Our room overlooked the street but we had no problem with road noise.
We had breakfast in the hotel and found there was plenty to choose from and was all fresh and tasty.
The location was great for us, out of the centre of Paris but only a short walk from the metro, so only took about 15 mins to get to all the main sights.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
If we came to Paris again we would definitely stay here.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in November 2013 for her 30th Birthday. The staff were extremely helpful and explained clearly (in English) where the local attractions and amenities were on arrival. We stayed for two nights and stayed in a Superior Double. I also requested a balcony (at short notice) and they were able to oblige. This was lovely to stand out on in the mornings and take in the hustle and bustle of below. The rooms were small but had everything you need (including a fridge and iPhone dock) as well as TV (including a couple of British channels) and a truly awesome shower. This certainly helped soothe the body after a long day sightseeing Paris. We didn't opt for breakfast in the hotel as there was a fantastic bakery on the way to Nation Metro station that was ideal for breakfast on the go. The hotel is only a few minutes from both Rue des Boulets and Nation Metro stations making getting around really easy. As the hotel is to the east of the city centre we found it a little quieter and the local bars a lot cheaper. We ate at Chez Prosper one evening which gave huge portions at reasonable prices and gave a good feel for the Parisian café culture. On another night we ate at Pozada (2 minute walk from the hotel) and had a fantastic meal - the Scallop starter and then the Osso Bucco was amazing! The hotel also let you securely leave your luggage for free enabling us to spend our last day squeezing in some more sights without the burden of carrying our luggage around. Overall, a great hotel with great staff and perfectly situated - a little on the outskirts but quieter and with a number of great little cafés and bars that were well priced. We would definitely stay here again. Couldn't fault it.

I stayed in this hotel by myself for three nights in December 2013. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The room was very clean and cozy. The bed was a bit small for me but as a 6'5 man I'm used to such problems when traveling in Europe. The hotel is in a nice area with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. It is a two minute walk to the metro which was great! I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Paris!

we stayed in this hotel for 9 nights. It is a 3 star hotel and the location on Blvd. Voltaire is very nice. Lots of food shops and close to Nation metro with multiple lines running from it as well as several bus lines. Oce'an the manager and the staff could not have been nicer. Blvd Voltaire is a busy street but we had earplugs so we had zero problem sleeping at night. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: if noise bothers you ask for a room on a high floor.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We loved staying in a neighborhood and away from the rush of the tourists. Very easy metro ride to everything you need to see.

Stayed at the Hotel Grand Francais, what can we say but wonderful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, staff very helpful, knowledgeable and plenty of patience for us tourists. Metro only 5mins away and accessible to all of the tourists sites. If booking transfers from beauvais airport don't use Paris Shuttles they let us down on arrival, we had to wait 2 hours for pick up which just isn't good enough.
Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby, room small but spotless and very modern, bed comfortable. We would highly recommend this wee gem, we would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: Choose superior suite

Myself and my husband stayed here last weekend for three nights and had a wonderful visit. The front desk could not have been more helpful in suggesting great restaurants and even attempted to make several reservations for us. One evening we ate at po de za which was an amazing meal!

The locations great for this hotel, there are two subway stops near by, one pretty much 1 minutes walk away and one about 5 minutes away, both serving typical tourist attractions for Paris.

I found the area really nice, and even late at night felt really safe which is something I don't feel in some cities I visit.

The rooms were incredibly clean and modern, and a nice little touch, toweled slippers!
Would recommend this hotel to any one wanted quality hotel at a responsible price tag.

Room came with complementary water in the mini bar and free wifi, something that we struggled to find when looking at other hotels in paris

A great stay so thank you
