We stayed here for 3 nights recently on my first (husbands 3rd) trip to Paris. We got to the hotel just before 11am and were able to check-in immediately. The girl on the front desk could not have been more helpful. We were given a room on the 7th floor (top) with a great view over the nearby roof tops and the Bastille (away from the construction).

Clean modern room, and yes the bathroom is on the small side but not uncomfortably so (have stayed in other hotels with smaller!). We did not take up the breakfast option but did have a few quiet drinks in bar and found the bar staff to be very good. We also took advantage of the onsite luggage lockers at 3 Euro for a medium size locker, after we checked out, and found it a much easier option than the usual train station left luggage process.

The location of the hotel was ideal being only a short walk from Bastille and an even shorter one from Breuget/Sabin. We found we didn't actually use the metro much as it was a nice easy walk down Rue de Rivoli or Notre Dame and then along the Seine etc.

Will be staying here again next time we are in Paris.

We spent in this hotel a few days in summer and we were satisfied. Hotel is clean, quiet, the rooms are small but enough to sleep. Hotel location is excellent, a short walk from the metro station, 5 minutes walk from Bastille. Near are a lot of restaurants and bakeries. If you are looking for a friendly hotel at a reasonable price this is a good choice.

A bit of reading and research gave this place a good rating so we worked out our plans and booked it. It was as we expected for an Ibis in Paris, but better than other Accor group hotels which cost more. It is 4 stops on Metro ligne 5 from Gare du Nord (we arrived on Eurostar) and takes 15 mins. Only 200m walk from Breuget-Sabin metro in a good residential neighbourhood.
Check in was quick, pleasant and no fuss. We asked for a room on the highest floor possible and got one. It had a small balcony, but not intended for use as there is no rail. But there are views across to the nearby Bastille monument. There is a Casino mini market literally next door and close, local bars restaurants for easy food. The hotel restaurant stays open until 11pm. The room itself had a comfortable bed and all the usual designs of an Ibis. It was more compact than other cities, but this is Paris, the compact city! Did you book a hotel in Paris to stay in the room, or sleep in it? We slept in ours and it was fine , the rest of the time spent in the city. Bathroom was compact too but the usual 'Grohe' power shower worked well and towels were changed every day. The 9 Euro breakfast was good considering what little you would get for 9 Euros in a cafe, although the coffee machines kept breaking down during breakfast. It was available until 10.30 or 11am at the latest but by then, the buffet was looking a bit 'looted'.
The bag lockers were full when we checked out but the staff secured them at no extra charge for collection later. Bonus.
Great location for walking access to the Opera/Bastille, Marais, Bassin Arsenal/Seine.

I recently spent 6 nights here!! Overall good value only 400 m from Bastille and Breuget/Sabin is only 150 m away!!
So the location is good!! The room was good the only real problem is they are a bit small especially the bathroom!!! However as a base to explore Paris it was very good over the new year period!!
The staff are friendly and very helpful!! I was made most welcome)))
Enjoy your stay!!!!

The staff were very helpful with helping us plan our site seeing adventures. The rooms were clean and the beds great! Easy to fall asleep after a long day on our feet exploring the city! The buffet breakfast wasn't really worth the 9 euro but good none the less. The location is right near the metro which was perfect, quick to the Louvre and Notre Dame.

Excellent stay in this hotel. Location is top, walking distance to Notre-Dame and surroundings. Service was quite good, breakfast was more than okay. Too bad the bar closes at midnight, a bit too early for us. Nice pre-christmas weekend.
