We have travelled to Paris every year for 15 years and stayed in quite a number of hotels. We found this hotel 5 years ago and now we love it...The minute you enter the hotel you are made to feel very welcome. The reception staff are the finest We have met anywhere in Europe..The rooms are comfortable, The breakfasts are to die for as the choice is never ending..Again, the staff are friendly..When leaving the hotel, the concierge phones a taxi for you and takes your luggage to the taxi and loads it in for you and wishes you a pleasant journey..They never expect a tip and YOU have to call them back and insist on a tip..It is a very reasonable priced hotel and I am sure you will love it as we do..We love it so much we have joined the frequent visitor's club..The bar and Restuarant are modern and they have a well equipped gymnasium..It is a 10 minute stroll to the River Seine/Notre Dame

I spent 1 night in this hotel on business. The problem was finding it. There is alot of building going on in the Les Halles area and some of the roads are closed which is a little confusing. However, once located the lobby area is lovely, modern and inviting. The check in was seamless and the staff extremely helpful. I had a room on the second floor. The room I had was a little dated and tired but very clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious for Paris. The bathroom had all the things an overnight stay would usually require and there was a hair dryer which worked - always a bonus. We used the bar, which again was nice and relaxing and seemed quite popular with guests. Breakfast was the usual buffet affair but there was something for everyone and the quality was excellent. We also used the conference facilities and these could not be faulted; they provided everything we could have needed. The location was excellent; a short walk from the Notre Dame and if you went in the other direction from the Louvre and other attractions. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Immaculate entrance with superb breakfast served daily. Location amidst restaurants, great shopping, bars, supermarkets & patisseries. Very close walking distance to the Louvre- 5 mins. Sadly our room was appalling. The donnas were old and smelly and the room felt like it needed disinfecting! Even though the room was serviced daily it just didn't feel clean.

The hotel is located within a few steps of RER/metro stop. It was fairly easy to find thanks to signs on the street corner. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that is where the beauty ended. Our room was clean but very outdated. The room didn't even have a directory. The bed was not comfortable, and we normally don't have any trouble sleeping. The doors were scratched with chipping paint, the grout in the bathroom needed to be redone, the shower did not drain well, and there was no way to turn it on without getting sprayed in the face/head. The hallway didn't smell pleasant. Overall I just don't feel the hotel deserves a four star rating. If it had been 3 stars then the room would've been more acceptable. The area of the hotel itself is within walking distance to the louvre, Notre Dame, St Chapelle.
The RER/metro stop is right behind the hotel, there are a lot of homeless people sleeping in the subway stations some stations were cleaner than others. To one side of the hotel is nice streets with lots of cafes, the other side had a square with people begging for spare change.
The construction did not bother us as we were up early to sight see. Rooms were a good size.

Our stay is a week long, the rooms are large but don't have much storage space. Only given 6 hangers. Bathroom Shower and toilet are separated which is nice. When arriving at the hotel the staff was very friendly and spoke pretty good English. Breakfast was included with our package but you must go early as later on there is an enormous line. The hot buffet is not very hot at all. I don't know if this is just a trait of Paris but I was very surprised that even though you have the do not disturb sign on the door, the staff knock and come right in before you even have a chance to get up. Secondly, if you need anything, service is not fast at all. We had problems with our phone that would not let us call out. We have been waiting over a day for the technician who was supposed to be right up. It took, 3hrs and spoke to reception 3 times to have some one come and bring us coffee cups with more coffe and sugar. Here at the hotel, the cleaning staff clean everything and take away all dirty glass and someone totally different come to refill coffee, tea etc. well today she didn't show up :(. There is construction around the hotel, but I would have to say that it is not that bad. They are currently working underground so the noise is tolerable.
