A wonderfu place to stay for our too few days in Paris. Excellent location with a wonderfu restaurant and delicious breakfast. We arrived early in the morning but they had our room ready by 9am. Alway very helpful when we needed advise or informatin. Will come back here the next time we get to Paris.

Room Tip: Try to get rooms 30,40,50 or 60

We were fortunate enough to stay the Hotel Relais Saint-Germain twice, with our most recent visit being ins August of 2013. Each room is unique and beautifully decorated. On our first stay, our room had a lovely sitting area with wooden beams separating it from the sleeping area. On our second visit, we were on the top floor in an open concept room with a skylight that looked out upon the city. This room also had an outdoor space, where we enjoyed before dinner bubbly beverages and tasty treats. On this most recent visit, our adult son joined us. His room was on the first level of rooms, closer to the street and right next to the hotel's restaurant, Le Comptoir. While his room was quite nice, the noise level was extremely loud (he was finally able to get a bit of sleep after the noise died down around 3:30 am). We found the staff to be extremely helpful throughout our visits, recommending restaurants and suggesting various areas of interest within the neighborhood. A highlight of both stays was our wonderful breakfast. We love breakfast, and Le Comptoir does it right....from the tasty croissants to the fresh yogurt to the delightful marinated fruit to the perfectly soft boiled eggs to the succulent ham and cheeses. What a perfect start to each of our daily adventures in Paris. Essentially, we love all that this hotel has to offer. Its accommodations, staff, location, and amenities are tres fantastique!

Room Tip: When making a reservation, request a room that is on floors three or above to avoid dealing with street and restaurant noise.

We spent four days here and loved every minute. The location is excellent, the rooms are a great size and beautifully decorated, delicious breakfast, great wi-fi and excellent staff who were more than helpful....especially Marie...she went out of her way to be helpful and is a fantastic asset to the hotel.
Definitely take advantage of being able to book a table at the hotel restaurant 'Le Comptoir' to enjoy an amazing food experience and avoid the lengthy queues that appear every night.
This hotel is in a great spot on the Left Bank and we will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Paris!

We loved staying at Saint-Germain. Hotel is charming, service was wonderful and location was great. We would definitely stay there again when we go back to Paris. Marie was particularly helpful in guiding us through the stay. The hotel restaurant Le Comptoir was excellent (we tried both breakfast and dinner). The restaurant was very crowded at dinner (line out the door). Thankfully hotel guests get preferential seating.

Room Tip: We had the room 34. It was enough space for a family of four.

My wife, daughter and I spent 5 days at the Hotel Relais Saint-Germain in August, and it was a phenomenal experience. The hotel is elegant, perfectly located, and offers a unique combination of rustic and modern. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. Our room (58) had its own private terrace, affording a lovely view of the bustling Parisian courtyard below. The room was beautifully furnished, with a large sitting area, the most comfortable bed and the best wi-fi we had during two weeks in Europe, and a "loft-like" bedroom with wooden beams. it was a pleasure to come home each evening after a day of sight-seeing. The staff was professional and helpful. The Saint-Germain de pres area on the Left Bank, in our mind, is the best place to be in Paris. Close to everything, with tons of boutique shops and outdoor cafes, and an "artsy" feel that is very engaging. The breakfast in the hotel's Le Comptoir Restaurant (one of the hardest tables to get in Paris) is terrific, and one of the benefits of staying at the hotel is the ability to get a reservation at the restaurant. (When you see the long lines of people waiting to get in each night, you realize this is a major perk). We'll definitely return on our next trip to Paris.

Room Tip: Room 58 is probably the best in the hotel, because of the terrace, but the wooden beams are fairly low. If you're over 6 feet tall, you will have to duck.
