We have stayed here twice now, once for five days and the second time for a single night in transit. I would definitely go back. Our rooms were immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful: everything from dinner reservations to a stamp for a letter to Mozambique. The location, just off Boulevard Montparnasse, is superb. There are cute, inexpensive places to eat across the street, and two of Hemingway's haunts, the Dome and the Rotonde (pricey but worth a visit) are around the corner. Really an excellent small hotel.

Room Tip: If steps are a problem ask for a room on the side with the lift.

This hotel came personally recommended by a friend, and I'm so glad she gave me this wonderful recommendation!

My great experience started before we even arrived. I emailed the hotel to confirm our reservation through Expedia, and promptly got a reply back from Stephanie. I ventured and asked her to advise whether it's easier to travel by taxi or train from CDG. She provided me with all the options, and clearly stated what routes and stations I needed to take if I took the train. BTW, from CDG, just take the train to this hotel. Super easy, no need for taxi unless you have a lot of luggage. Most stations don't have escalators...but we only had one carry on suitcase so it wasn't a problem. It's just the RER B, then probably couple transfers and you're there. Quick tip, the ticket machines at CDG don't take bills, only coins and credit cards. If you have bills you can buy from the attendant. All machines have many languages so you're fine if you're not fluent in french.

The location of the hotel is great. The Vavin station (line 4) was just at the corner. The street the hotel was on had a cute corner cafe, and there is a laundry facility right next door. On top of that, Starbucks is across the street, and there is a delicious bakery couple stores down. There is really no need to get the hotel breakfast but I hear it's delicious for like 19 euros a day.

Montparnasse is the cross street and it has tons of restaurants, cinemas, etc. Definitely a local happening place.

When we checked in Gaelle was working (Hi Gaelle!:) We're there visiting Roland Garros and she gave us directions to get there, and couldn't be nicer and friendlier. Besides Gaelle, everyone else was wonderful too.

The elevator is tiny though. My husband and I could barely fit. If you go in with another person, be ready to be real friendly :) we got a standard double, or the victoria secret room :) The wall paper was the exact color...small room, but bathroom was a normal size. Safe in the room, big flat screen. We literally didn't spend much time in the room so it was no big deal. The location can't be beat.

If we come back to Paris, definitely staying again.

Hello,

And we are glad also your friend recommended us, thank you for the review !! :)

Indeed, our hotel is situated in a little and quiet street, with plenty of shops and restaurants, and also with a laundry 2 doors away, which is very convenient for our guests.
It was a pleasure to welcome you when you checked in (hi !!!!! :D)
Little charming hotels in Paris don't have much place, but we are doing our best to furnish our rooms to be the most convenient.

Thanks again for all your compliments, and we look forward to welcoming you again at Hôtel Jardin Le Bréa !

We had a wonderful time in this fantastically located hotel. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The bedroom was really small, but attractively decorated, with 2 lounges available for use downstairs. Staff were super friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. The best scrambled eggs ever!!
From the hotel we were able to walk all over Paris to see the main sights. The area where the hotel is located is pretty, with many great restaurants within minutes walk.
Thank you for a great stay.

Just got back yesterday from this hotel. It is a pokey place with small rooms, but once you get over that it is a lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful and rooms are changed daily. No need to bring towels for washing. Lovely breakfast in cosy room downstairs and kept us going till early afternoon. Fantastic location - just down the road from shops, restaurants, Vavin metro etc etc one way and just down the road from the beautiful Jardin de Luxembourg which we adored. Would stay again.

Stayed here for 5 nights last week. Fantastic. The hotel staff are very helpful. The location is in the 6th district, 100 yards from Vavin Metro..Luxembourg Gardens are at end of street. Starbucks is directly across street from front door. Within a two minute walk is a dozen cafes where you can sit out and enjoy a drink. Bulliers is a five minute walk and I recommend highly. Use the Metro and bus service. Bus # 68 takes you directly to Lourve in less than fifteen minutes. There is an honor bar in lobby that is stocked very well. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Paris next. The staff could not have been more helpful and were very helpful in directions and locations. If you want a hotel that is very affordable, clean, great location, great staff and in the 6th district, then look no further, this is the reliable choice.

Room Tip: Room #3 has a double and a single bed. Shower was great after a long day of sightseeing.

Stayed here for three nights with my wife and 6 year old in a triple room (no 5).
We love this hotel. I would describe it as cosy and friendly, with lovely staff.
It's situated quite conveniently just a short walk from Jardin du Luxembourg, which in itself is about 15 mins walk from Notre Dame.
The nearest Metro station is only 50m away and the stop is about 15mins from Gare du Nord.
Our room was cosy, clean, nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep each night.
The buffet breakfast was excellent and a good start to the day.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Indeed, on the second morning it was our son's 6th birthday, and the staff surprised us with an improvised birthday cake and a chorus of Happy Birthday! It was a lovely thought and something we would not have got when we stayed in The Hilton!
We would certainly stay here again. We love Paris and now we love it even more!

When you're so far from a country you wish to visit and want that visit to be successful, your hotel choices needs to be right. My cousin stayed at this hotel a year ago and was very impressed. She recommended it as their stay was very memorable and happy.
We are a walking group from Australia and I booked in 12 members for 7nights. Choosing the Jardin Le Brea was the right choice. The girls manning the front desk were efficient and extremely helpful. The fact that I don't speak French, their English skills were a great asset. If I emailed with a query or question the answer was there; without fail when I woke in the morning.
It's position was perfect with walking distance to many of the wonderful sites within Paris, the metro and RER within a few steps. The area is quiet, for restful sleep. Restaurants, cafes, Pastries, fruit, flower and the tabac store for bus or rail tickets were all available in the same street. The generous breakfast allowed us to start our days nourished and ready for learning as much as we could on our travels.
We felt it was a home away from home. Everyone was very happy with their stay. A big Thank You to all the staff, especially Gaelle and Stephanie.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a view to a garden or open space, although rooms a pint sized in Paris, looking out...

Dear Australian friends!

All the team was very pleased to welcome you!

It is difficult for everyone to find a hotel corresponding to his wishes. We are grateful to your cousin to advise you our small and charming hotel, and were so glad that you have chosen us to meet him after a long time without seeing him.

Our front desk reception does its best to help customers. We really like our job and our purpose is to satisfy our clients. It's was a pleasure to help you by mail before to welcome you. Thank you to notice our work.

We have the chance to be located in a safe and busy area, you can find all the shops you need close by.

We thank you so much for your kind review, and we hope you will come back to visit us. In the meantime, we let you spread out about our hotel.

Kind regards
