“Extremely satisfied! Room 52 is the best.”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

What a gem, this hotel! All the positive feedback is true. The hotel is situated in the heart of St. Germain des Pres, a stone's throw away from Jardins Luxembourg, and within 30 seconds of the Metro (line 4). It's on a quiet street, yet near the main boulevards, so you have the benefit of being central, without the downside of constant car noise.

The hotel is small, with a nice little lobby and a small reception desk. Everything looks new and tidy, but definitely with character. The staff is very friendly, speak good English, and are quite helpful. We stayed in room 52, which is on the top floor and is the only room that has a seriously big balcony overlooking the street below and the surrounding skyline (the hotel is just a bit taller than the surrounding buildings, so you get a fairly unobstructed view while on the balcony).

The room (their basic room) was quite small, but definitely enough for two people to share. The decor was tasteful and provided a sense of character. The pens and stationary said "Smile, you're in Paris" which was a nice touch. The shower and the bathroom were great and modern, and provided an independent access to the balcony. The min bar was free, and provided basic non-alcoholic drinks, like water, orange juice and Pepsi. Also useful to store a few items that we bought to eat on the balcony.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. They went out of their way to make the trip pleasant. No rude knocks on the door to clean the room (waited for us to leave). Extended check out, on request. Called venues to see if there were tickets available. And, obviously, put us up in that room. You can't beat this boutique! And the price was very reasonable.

Room Tip: Room 52 was great due to the large balcony with access from the bedroom and the bathroom. Table and...

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Service was friendly. Rooms are small but I think everything in Paris is. The location was great, fairly quiet and the bed was comfortable. In my opinion the breakfast was convenient but overpriced. i would definitely recommend this hotel.

This boutique hotel is in an excellent location with metro lines close by. The service is excellent and friendly. It's the perfect place if you plan to spend most of your time exploring Paris and just need a decent place to stay. The rooms are small, clean and quaint and shopping and attractions are all within walking distance. I came here with a bunch of girlfriends for a bachelorette party and have many fond memories of my stay here. The espresso and tea station in the lobby is a welcome addition.

It was my second stay in that Hotel, so I recommend it!
Nice little hotel, very well located, clean, you can do almost everything by feet.
Friendly staff. Very calm.
For this price, it was a very good service.
We were 2 people, the room was not very big but enough if you don't have too much baggage... and it is Paris after all..
The only thing I had to criticize was the cleaning lady, who was not very fast and had a strange attitude.

If you want to find a hotel well located in terms of metro, places to eat and visit, then this is the place to stay. Friendly staff, nice rooms and small boutique hotel feel. Will come back. The rooms are all quiet as it is a small street in Paris so not too much traffic.

Room Tip: Perfect for couples

My wife and I stayed at this hotel with our son and daughter-in-law for 3 days on March 13th to celebrate my 70th birthday. This hotel is a real "gem". Its in a great location within walking distance to the metro, wonderful restaurants, and shopping. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. We came in late the morning of our arrival after a long flight and difficulty getting from the airport to Paris because of some bad weather (snow). The staff immediately had breakfast for us in the lounge area and our room was ready upon arrival. The rooms are a bit small, but everything including the bathrooms are modern, clean and bright. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Its a great value.

The hotel's location, the staffs, the attention , the service, and the nearby amenities combined make this a terrific choice. Luxumberg garden is less than 5 minutes walking distance. Metro line 4 station Vavin is a block away- take you to St Michel with connection to St Michel-Notre Dame RER stations B & C with RER C to Versailles Chateau. there are bakeries around every corner- particularly recommend the one near Luxumberg garden named Julien. walking distance to Le Rotonde. Le Coupole- good restaurants plus other smaller cafes. We took Air France Shuttle line 4 to Gare Montparnesse, and it was 10-15 minutes walk to hotel. Upon returning to CDG, the hotel arranged a shared shuttle for 36 euro for two people. Very reasonable. our room is located on the 4th floor- small room but well furnished with a full modern bath. There are hair dryer, ironing board, and warming tower rack. The room was quiet and well serviced.
