“Very nice hotel”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Really liked this little hotel, I was on a weekend break from a business trip so was alone and just got a single room, a small room with a single bed. But was perfect for me as I was just using it as a sleeping base while I toured Paris. The room was pleasant and clean, with a small TV with cable, a clean and tidy little bathroom with bath. Good air conditioning. Best bit was a large double opening window with cast iron railing and window box with flowers and a view of the church, and the sounds of Paris coming through.

Great location within easy walk of the Metro and Notre Dame and lots of Restaurants and cafe's but just enough out of the action to be restful.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Do use their recommended shuttle transfer to the airport which was on time, safe, efficient and good value at €40.

This hotel is the ultimate Latin Quarter experience. The hotel sites rate it 3 stars and we almost never go below 4, but something urged me to book this wonderful boutique hotel and I'd return in a heartbeat. It is beyond chic but not pretentious. The location couldn't be more perfect. The top floor has a wrap around veranda, with views of the Eiffel Tower. The staff is ultra courteous and happy to speak beautiful English for you. The atmosphere is mod/chic/upbeat but subtle. It's in an old architectural building next to the Gothic St. Severin Cathedral. So, if you get lost, which is easy to do in this area, just listen for the church bell. (We did)

Room Tip: penthouse veranda views cannot be beat. Worth the upgrade

As previous reviews have mentioned this hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the Latin Quarter but in a quiet side street. We were in room 14 just above the main entrance. The room was lovely with a massive double bed. The bathroom was a good size with a nice shower. The reception staff were very helpful with good English. There are a couple of Metro lines close by for easy to the sites. Make sure you visit the little church next door as it is very beautiful.

Very friendly staff and a fabulous location for sightseeing and restaurants, just a short walk from the Metro and the direct train line to/from Charles de Gaulle airport, but beautifully quiet in a pedestrian area away from the traffic. We booked a superior room and were given the largest on the top floor which was fabulous with a good size bathroom and views across the rooftops. Will not hesitate to come here again.

Room Tip: We had room 50, being on the top floor it was lovely and sunny.

On a quiet street in the midst of tourisim. A great staff. Nice rooms some with views if you want to pay for that.....Close access to the metro. The best advice i received was do not fall prey to the touristy restaurants within a block or two of the hotel.....explore within a 4 to 12 block area in any direction and you will be glad you did! Most of all skip the stupidly expensive breakfast in 99% of
these hotels.......I'd go recc this place to friends

Room Tip: If you re willing to pay ask for one of the rooms on the upper floors with a good view

What a beautiful, quaint, perfectly-Parisian hotel. The staff - and particularly Carolina - made our stay here one of the best vacations we've ever had (and we have both lived in Paris and visited many times). Carolina made it a priority to accommodate in whatever way she could. She was very responsive to questions prior to booking and to special requests once we were there. The rooms were lovely and very quiet - unexpectedly so given the prime location in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Beautiful, very clean and well-kept, and the balconies are such a wonderful addition to the upper rooms. The breakfasts were delicious. And the location cannot be surpassed - just a few minutes walk from Notre Dame, the metro, the Seine, nightlife and restaurants.

Thank you, Carolina, for a beautiful, memorable stay. Your hotel is a treasure!

Room Tip: If you can splurge, get one of the rooms on the top two floors with a balcony!

My husband and I stayed here from July 27 - 30th of this year. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and everyone spoke good English. If you want to be where the excitement is you will be right in the mix. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants good value for their $$$$ and friendly who will go out of their way.
