We adored the geen expanses, the wide walkways, groomed hedges, sculptures and fountains. We also appreciated the fact that this is a park that is used by locals. We saw small children playing soccer, people reclining in the sun on loungers, and families out with their dogs playing fetch and / or picnicing. And let's not forget that there are a couple of outdoor cafes to enjoy a beverage while watching the ducks and the people go by. If I lived in Paris I would be there every weekend. (We also enjoyed seeing the goat doing the groundskeeping on the ditches.)

I didn't realize just how much there is to see until you actually start your walk through the Jardin des Tuilleries. There are so many beautiful sculptures, it is hard to know which way to look. the only down side was in the area of the sculptures, there was gravel that was hard to walk on. Past the sculptures was a lovely long area to stroll with some shade and people enjoying the day.

nice park outside the louve. we went in the fall when the leaves were changing but I wish there had been more flowers. The part across from the Louve had a few flowers but the part near the square felt like it was just a dirt park. It did have a great view of the arc de triumph. go down the stairs at the arch de carousel to get to the shops and the ticket stands for the Louve

Jardin de Tuileries is one o the best place of Paris to go to spend a suitable afternoon during summer or spring. The place is huge and very well maintained and the location, well, it's the best part. It is just after Champs-Elysees and before Musee du Louvre, and to complete, just beside the River Seine. I believe no more comments are needed. If you are in Paris, go and check it by yourself. I'm sure you will not regret it.

It was a beautiful day to stroll and what more perfect place to do so than in the Jardin des Tuileries!?! It's a beautiful park and filled with wonderful gardens, sculptures, ponds, and smiling people. There's even a café or two where you can have a delightful crepe while sipping wine in one of the most beautiful gardens in the world.

Come here and plan to relax for at least an hour, if not the day!
