After spending one quick night at Le Citizen, we're determined to stay longer next time we're in Paris. Located in a trendy neighborhood right on the Canal, this hotel is incredibly well designed. Our tiny room felt quite spacious thanks to the well designed furniture and clever space saving ideas. With two large floor to ceiling windows, our room had a great amount of natural light, and a great view out over the canal. We could even see Sacre Coeur lit up at night.
Outside of a comfortable and well designed room (and bathroom), the hotel has smartly thought of everything else you could need-- and it all was included in the room rate. Each room comes with an ipad, providing you with internet, and a preloaded list of things to do, walks to take and favorite restaurants/bars in the neighborhood. Additionally, large bottles of fresh and sparkling water were provided and a free mini bar with some delicious treats. We arrived right at wine and cheese hour which was a welcome surprise. Breakfast was served in the gorgeous space right off of the entrance- and was delicious.
The staff were fantastic, and incredibly charming and helpful. We took a fantastic walk down to Notre Dame the morning before our long flight back to the states-- and passed through so many interesting neighborhoods along the way. We can't wait to return to le Citizen and explore even more.More
