Many restaurants cafes and shops. The main boulevards have many stores. Supermarket, monoprix, city pharma, make this area affordable and side streets have unique smaller shops. At the Metro stop St.Michel is a plaza and fountain and at St. Germain stop a beautiful church and cafes. Located along the river and near Notre Dame is very picturesque. There are art kiosks along the river to peruse along the way.

Paris cafe culture at its best, meandering streets, little designer shops, great galleries and people viewing.
