Having a lunch or a coffee at Les Deux Magots was a treat. Knowing this used to be the intellectual heart of Paris, frequented by writers and painters lihe Picasso and Jean-Paul Sartre. Also, the church of Saint Germain is worth visiting, if you have the time of course.

We rented an apartment through PARIS FOR RENT on the Rue Dauphin--a 2 BR/ 2BA with air conditioning. It was within a very short walk of my favorite street in all of Paris in Saint Germain--the Rue de Buci.

On this street, you have multiple restaurants/bar cafes/ Paul's Boulangerie/ Flower Shop/ Amorino's Ice Cream along with different street performers.

This street is active late at night for both young and old. I LOVE SAINT GERMAIN DES PRES!!!

My hotel was here. Many cafes and buildings. Easy to walk to other side of city. At night many people on the street for dinner.

I really enjoyed seeing this area as it is less touristy and had many cafe options as well as grocery. We walked this way to Luxembourg Gardens.
