expecting bohemian, more like Knightsbridge. Good views of the seine. Great if you want expensive chocolate or unusual gifts

“Typical”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Typical Parisian area, with small bistrots restaurants and cafès. Enjoy the vibrant nightlife of the Ville Lumière in this fabulous area!

“A Great Neighbourhood!”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

We really liked this area. After visiting Musee D'Orsay, we walked around, found Rodin's former home and than went to a cafe to people watch. You feel more among the locals here than in Les Halles.

“Hip and low key at the same time”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Such a pleasant place to stay and hang - just skip the Champs-Elysee entirely. The scene is fun and food is great. The shops are unique and galleries nice. Just wander and absorb... A lovely Parisian experience!!

“Love the French Quarter”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Unless you experienced the hustle and bustle of the French quarter you haven't been to Paris yet. Experience Deux Margot or Le Flore, the cafes even though the price for the drinks are expensive. To see and be seen. Walk around the noisy Rue Jacobs and quieter L'Universite street.
