Brice is friendly, knowledgeable and eager to make sure you have a fantastic time. We spent an afternoon in Sancerre touring a goat farm and winery, where we ate cheese, drank wine and took in the beautiful views. We visited a goat farm famous for producing Crottins de Chavignol (a very unique and highly regulated type of goat cheese) and we got to sample 3 cheeses aged at 3 different timeframes which gave them each a unique flavor. That afternoon we met with a local winemaker and got to taste Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from Sancerre, Menetou-Salon and Pouilly-Fume. My family and I didn’t know too much about French wines before the tour so it was great to learn about the different regions and flavor profiles. For the rest of our time spent back in Paris we felt much more confident when ordering wines from those areas.
Brice picked a fantastic restaurant in the hillside town of Sancerre for lunch that had the most spectacular panoramic views. Thank you Brice for sharing your local insider knowledge and making us feel at home for an afternoon in the beautiful countryside. We can’t wait to visit again!
