My wife and I had a great time touring Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé with Brice. Brice was an excellent guide; he was knowledgable, friendly and professional. On the tour we were shown examples of the many factors that go into making a bottle, both terroir and winemaking methods. We also enjoyed meeting and learning from les vignerons.

The wines and cheese we tried were excellent, as was our lunch in the town of Sancerre.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning more about French winemaking.

We selected Paris Wine Day Tours because of the outstanding reviews, combination of history and champagne, and the opportunity to meet with local champagne makers.. We were looking for a special experience and Brice's tour exceeded our expectations in every way. It was the perfect way to celebrate completion of the Paris 2023 marathon. Our tour ended up being a private tour for our small group of 4 and every aspect of the tour delighted us. Brice met us in Paris at the designated spot and we travelled to the champagne region in his comfortable van. After a delicious croissant and caffee, we visited Reims and its cathedral to learn about the coronation of many kings. In Reims, Brice took us to a delicious and full traditional French lunch with wine at a local restaurant. We visited 2 well known champagne houses and 1 local champagne house with many tastings. While each one was unique and memorable, we especially enjoyed the local one as we met and interacted directly with the champagne maker. On the way back to Paris, we stopped at the war cemetery which was incredible to see. Brice is very knowledgeable and his command of history is impressive.. We look forward to returning to Paris to explore tours of other wine regions with Brice. We highly recommend this tour without hesitation!
