The place is not the nicest in Paris, we don,t go here by accident, but if you are nearby for lunch, don't hesitate to go to Café Chabalier to eat the "plat du (13 -15 €), often a standard of the French cook, like Blanquette, Pot au feu, brandade de morue, or calamars a la provencale.
The chef works with fresh ingredients and loves his job.
Good classic dessert (fruit-pies) and tasty pana cotta.
Better for lunch, the atmosphere is so-so for diner.
And, in summer, you can nip in the Parc de Bercy on the side
