The exterior of the Opear House is breathtaking, but be sure to go inside and see some busts of famous composers. An incredible building, may be my favorite!

We booked a Paris pass for four days and went from one museum to the next and saw many things in parqis this was a real highlight for us . We went on a guided English speaking tour and was amazed at the knowledge and the sincerity that the guide imparted to us.... The place is just amazing and the stories are even better when put into context of the day... We spent about three hours here touring the whole area and were really disappointed not to be able to go into the auditorium because they were practicing while we were there.. We were told that if we came back the next day at 10am we would be aloud access to the auditorium and we did come back only to be old that they were practicing again.. Were really disappointed... Funnily enough we came home in Oct and the three musketeers was on tv and the ball room is in the movie took us straight back into the room.... Truly amazing

We saw a Balanchine Ballet, but the real highpoint was the venue itself. Built in the 1660s it was truly amazing. We sat in a red velvet box, the hallways are beautiful. Highly recommend this venue for anything.

Just from the outside you can tell this is a beautiful building. Surrounded by it's rundown neighbors it shines even more brightly, and when you're inside, you will be amazed at the beauty.
So classic, so rich, so beautiful, and you can enjoy it all and not have to spring for an expensive!!! opera, what a bargain.

I saw an opera here, and the show was almost upstaged by the surroundings. Opulent, gold, moldings, mirrors, chandeliers - a truly grand experience.
