Ste. Chappelle was the chapel used by Louis XIII and the 15 windows and rose window on the second floor tell stories from the bible and have gorgeous colors on a sunny day. Instead of renting an audioguide you can see window explanations on large cards in various languages. Be sure to purchase a combination ticket with the Conciergerie which is same price as Conciergerie, giving you the Ste. Chappelle for free.

The stained glass windows are incredible and worth a visit for this alone. Recommend combining with a visit to the Conciergerie at the Palais de Justice. A joint ticket will enable you to avoid the queues at Sainte Chapelle. The Conciergerie is well worth a visit.

I never this place existed but it was more interesting than Notre Dam. I highly recommend as well worth seeing.

This site is hidden within the walls of the Justice Center just blocks from Notre Dame. The entrance is through the Justice Building on the main street (where the armed guards are). As with most sites, you will go through security before purchasing tickets. Although it was a shame to see that they have erected a modern "trailer-like" building next to the chapel, once you enter the chapel doors, you will be glad you paid the admission price. Built to house the crown of thorns, the small chapel is just beautiful! Make sure you travel up the stairs to the upper level.
