“Beautiful stained glass - take time to visit”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

The Sainte-Chapelle is a small, medieval, Gothic chapel in the center of Île de la Cité - near the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Don't overlook this hidden treasure in Paris. The stained glass is amazing, and they are currently cleaning it which makes a huge difference.

“The Four Seasons at Sainte Chapelle”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Even though the windows on the north side of the church are being restored we went on-line and bought tickets to a 7:00 pm concert. The church is absolutely beautiful inside and out and the acoustics are perfect for musical performances. We expected a predictable concert and we were thrilled that it was far from predictable, it was exceptional and memorable.

“Sainte-Chapelle / Palais de la Cite”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

A delightful, breath taking little chapel, set behind the walls of Palais de Justice /Law Courts on the island Ile de la Cite. Don't be put off by what you see downstairs, climb the stairs, and be prepared to have your eyes opened to an astonishing sight, once you've reached the top. Colours will leap out out you, take time to read the imformation leaflet, the histroy of the Capel is interesting. Linger and allow your senses to take in the beauty of the place, it is truely amazing. Allow yourself time to full in love with this special place.

“Stained glass”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

What a superb experience when the light streams through this magnificent example of stained glass.
A really interesting video on the current re-leading of the windows.
Two floors but well worth the spiral stairs to enter onto the first floor and be totally overwhelmed by the sight in front of your eyes.
