“Beautiful venue, well worth the money”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

We purchased our advance tickets via Classictic.com. We have been using this on-line company both in Paris and Venice extensively and can highly recommend it. The carre d'or (the best category) tickets were more than affordable, 44 euro per person. The official start of the show is 7 PM, the Classictic.com advises to arrive early, at 6:15 PM. We would take it even a notch early, especially if the intention is to get best seats available in your section/category. The lines are quite long, one has to move through almost the entire Palais de Justice to reach the La Chapelle.
The interior is fabulous, and so are the acoustics; the musician were doing a very good job. We would sincerely recommend the venue to our fellow TripAdvisor travelers and suggest it as a great and enlightening addition to your Paris plans. Especially for the money spent. Especially in Paris.

Well,Sainte-Chapelle is really nice, even beautiful, but somehow(I do not know why)I expected more.Stained glass windows are really something to see.We waited 45 minutes to get there, because it is very popular place for tourists, and if you have enough time, you should visit it.Conciergerie is also there.

“Story telling in stain glass windows”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

This was the first time I went inside to see the stain glass windows. Best to do your homework ahead of time to know what you are looking at. Depending on the time of day, certain windows are easier to see as the light changes.

“Renovation under way”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

Visiting S-C right now is a great idea as during the renovation, you get a feel for the old while seeing the new. It's a must see stop in Paris but aim to see it in the sun; otherwise the glory will be lost.
