“Lovely Restaurant”
Reviewed December 13, 2013

We spent a great romantic night at Mariette. I invited my boyfriend as a friend had recommended me this restaurant and he loved it! We tried the velouté de potiron, the raviolis au foie gras, the cote d'agneau and the desserts (Profiteroles and Millefeuilles) everything was delicious!!
Also, the atmosphere is very nice: is a little intimate restaurant where customers are kindly treated and happy to talk to Marcela, the main host.
We're sure going to take our friends and family when visiting Paris again.

“A little gem of a restaurant tucked away in the rue Bouquet”
Reviewed December 12, 2013

Found this lovely little restaurant on Trio Advisor and as it was 15 minutes walk from my hotel and i needed somewhere to take a client it was worth a risk. And was it worth it! Lets start at the door. First impression is a tidy, but tiny restaurant extremely modern and light. I counted 16, tables for 2. White tablecloths, shiny cutlery and sparkling glasses. An illusion of space is created by the ceiling high mirror on the back wall.

A glass of champagne to start and then into the meal I had the crab meat in a spinach volute with a soft poached egg to start followed ny the pollock with a potato crust on a bed of red onion which was spectacular and washed down with a bottle of Pouilly Fume. Desert was the Profiteroles stuffed with Gnash ice-cream and coated in salted caramel washed down with a glass of Sauternes . I would give this place 5 stars any day of the week.

“WOW ... Really Must Go!”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

- Thank you TripAdvisor for pointing me to this restaurant for our last night in Paris. A meal not to be forgotten.
- Best pumpkin soup I ever had
- Excellent fish dish (the one with mushrooms)
- Best profiteroles of my life.
- Small place with 14 chairs in total and they were all taken when we were there. Reservations likely necessary.

“Outstanding food with superlative service near the Rue Cler”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

We had an excellent meal this evening that was not only prepared with a great deal of skill but also served in an informal and thoroughly unstuffy manner. This is a family business with the husband cooking and the wife, Marcela, working the of the house and acting as the server. It is a beautifully decorated space seating 16 on a small street that runs between Avenue Bosquet and Rue Cler. The menu at 48 Euros for three courses is a great bargain.. Everything we had was top notch and the chef (who formerly worked for legendary chef Paul Bocuse) is very talented. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE, It is easy to overlook but worth the effort to find it. English spoken well here.
