As one of the other reviewers mentioned, we also did this on our honeymoon. We opted for the 'Unusual Paris' tour as we figured we'd see the heart of Paris in more detail at other times during our trip.
We were greeted by Victor who we'd had contact with over email prior to arriving in Paris, and then by Edith who gave us the tour. There were 12 people booked to go on our tour but there were only 5 in the end including my husband, myself and the guide. We cycled down to the Paris of the Parisiennes, through Ile Saint Louis, past the Mosque, through the gorgeous market street Rue Mouffetard and all the way down to the formerly peasant village of Montsouris (now en expensive town to live in). You really get a sense of how the outer city has been shaped by all of the different eras and it all fits together beautifully.
On our way back to the Marais (where Paris a Velo c'est Sympa's oofices are located) we stopped at Arene de Luteces, which to me brought such an eye-opening experience, not because it is an old preserved Roman arena, but you get a feel for the harmony and respect there is between the generation gaps. On one side you had teenagers sitting on a bench hanging out whilst watching a large group of older aged residents playing Petanque (Boules).
I think my husband was a bit cynical before we took this bicycle trip, but he's been truly converted and has said he'd be happy to do a different tour if we visited again.
The price was fantastic and even better for us because we're both under 26 so we got the jeune discount - it paid for the tour, the bike & the insurance. They even supplied us with raincoats as the weather was a bit unpredictable the day we went (luckily it didn't rain).
I also forgot to mention, our tour was given in English.
