We loved staying here while we were in Paris! It is only about 1 1/2 blocks to the main entrance to the Louvre Museum - close to the Opera Garnier, Rue St. Honore, Tuilleries Gardens, Orsay and Orangerie museums, and restaurants - metro station right in front - fantastic hotel staff - friendly and goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Their breakfast buffet is delicious and massive! We look forward to returning.

Went for a weekend trip to Paris staying in the Hotel du Louvre. We stayed in room 402 which is right under the roof with a lovely view over the Louvre and the squares around the hotel. Breakfast was included and very very good. All round a beautiful experience

Every hotel has mixed reviews and we were a little concerned about Hotel du Louvre. Our concerns were not warranted. Everyone from the bell staff and reception staff to the housekeeping staff, concierge staff, and restaurant could not have been nicer. Everyone helped us very pleasantly although we have very limited French. The breakfast buffet was all you could ever want and ran the gamut from eggs and bacon to miso soup. Something for everyone. We had a lovely stay. My only advice: ask for an inside (courtyard) room as the noise on rue de Rivoli can be loud. The location is wonderful for exploring and a metro station is just outside the back entrance to the hotel. We walked virtually everywhere we wanted to go and used taxis only a few times.

We stayed at the Hotel du Louvre for our trip to Paris for the Memorial Day weekend. This was our third time staying there, and it continues to be one of the hotels in Europe we really enjoy. We arrived at 9:00 AM (check in time is 3:00 PM) and the room was not ready. We dropped off our bags, went for a cup of coffee and took a short stroll on the Rue de Rivoli, and when we returned shortly after 10:00 AM, the room was ready. The room was a decent size, and our window overlooked the Louvre. It was on the Rue de Rivoli but you did not hear any street noise. This hotel is perfectly situated for a short stay in Paris, seems everything is within walking distance. If you want to go further, there is a metro station right outside the hotel. The breakfast was very good, with hot selections as well as breads, meats, cheese, fruit, cereal and yogurt. The concierge was always helpful in making dinner suggestions and booking reservations. All the staff members we met were very friendly and helpful at all times. I highly recommend the Hotel du Louvre.

Overall location was an A+++ Shopping food sites everything close enough to walk. We had a junior suite room 421 corner room very spacious. Walk in closet -Bathroom great, but you are in Paris out and about enjoy outside not the room. The room was very nice the staff great help with tickets etc. Umbrellas for the rain were available. Great location, great staff (spoke english) and Great city. Would not go wrong with this one also a bonus easy to find when you are there a football throw from the glass pyrmid.

Went away for three nights with My Brother and his teenage children visiting from Austrailia. It was their first time in Paris. The hotel was a package deal with eurostar. I am glad i booked before looking at some of the reviews as many of them were not good, we thought it was great value for money and in a great place. We had 5th floor rooms that we smart and modern. The bathroom was very clean with a great shower and bath.
The lobby and was impressive and staff friendly. Our bugdet did not stretch to eating in the hotel.... although we did have a glass of Tattinger one evening that cost 35 euros for two glasses. One negative - the walls are a little thin..
When going back to Paris i will certainly try to book again.

This is very centrally located hotel... walking distance from all the attractions and 1 block away from the Louvre. The room was comfortable with a nice view and the decor modest but to be expected for a european hotel (our bathroom was huge though!). The breakfast is EXCELLENT! The service is great with a very caring front desk people willing to help you in anything! I was pleasantly surprise and will go back in a heartbeat!
