When we traveled to Paris for our Honeymoon, we booked through a travel agent. We originally decided to book to stay at Hotel du Louvre. After reading hundreds of reviews, we decided to stay at Hotel Scribe instead. Well our shuttle paperwork got messed up and still said to drop us off at Hotel du Louvre. Our rude driver kicked us to the curb in front of this hotel with all of our luggage in the rain. Nobody came out to help us! No bell hop or anything! Now I know we weren't customers, but they didn't know that. After catching a taxi to our actual hotel, which was only like 5 blocks. Before I had even set foot in either hotel, I knew that we had made the right decision to not stay at Hotel du Louvre.

We spoiled ourselves with a stay at the Hotel Du Louvre as the climax of our holiday of a lifetime, and the hotel did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to have a room that looked out on to the opera house, and the view during the day at at night was wonderful. True to its name the hotel is located right next to the Louvre; there are numerous restaurants and bars nearby and the walks we had through the Tuilleries and down the Champs Elyssees were relaxing and enjoyable. The restaurant in the hotel is high quality and breakfast menu is varied and tasty. We also enjoyed listening to Jazz in the bar on Thursday night! We really enjoyed our stay and will stay there again should we ever be lucky enough to return to Paris.

Staying in Paris can be pretty expensive. From the food, to the shopping and lodging...
This place was seriously a Godsend...it was in a great location, right across the street from the Louvre and near great shopping...a subway entrance across the street. They have a great restaurant attached to the hotel, that we ate at almost every night. ...but the best part, it didn't break the bank like some of the other hotels nearby, and it was pretty nice for the amount of money spent! I'd definitely stay there again!

Hotel du Louvre is a beautiful hotel. It's right next to the Louvre, the Metro and walking distance to many other sites such as the Museum D'Orsay and the Opera House.
The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The restaurant within the hotel has a short menu but everything taste amazing!
We very much enjoyed our stay in the Hotel du Louvre and our time in Paris.
