Stayed a week with my son. Nice hotel and great location, right next to the Louvre. The lobby consists of the front desk and the concierge desk, no sitting area. There is a bar and a restaurant. Our room was located on the third floor and had a small balcony that faced one side of the Louvre. The room itself was small and a bit dated but it was clean (see pictures). We had a room with two twin beds but it was more like a king bed because there was not a space between the two. Around the bed there was just about two to three feet. There was a desk and refrigerator/tv. The closet went along one wall. There was not another dresser to put clothes in. The bath was a single sink and a tub/shower. Nothing special but it was clean. We did have problem with the heater - could not get it to a cooler temperature - it just kept blasting hot air. We had to open our balcony doors to let in some air each night but could not keep them open because of the noise.
Our reservation included breakfast each morning but I did have to prove it to them with the reservation printout when I checked in because they had it marked without breakfast. The breakfast was good - well appointed - with fruits, hot eggs/sausage, breads, cold meats. The restaurant staff was friendly and professional. I did not think much of the concierge - I asked for information three times and was always given very short answers. They could have been more helpful. When we were leaving I asked them the best way to go to the airport and they told me either a taxi or a bus which picked up at the Palais Garnier Opera house. I said that I knew where the Opera house was and that I did see buses in the square in front of it so we would take the bus. She just nodded and failed to tell me that the bus actually picks up on a street to the side of the opera house (which you cannot see when standing in front of it.) She could have saved us much time waiting for a bus in the wrong spot.
