It is a nice place to spend your time for families in a suuny afternoon in Paris. Actually, anyone visiting Paris can spend for a while in the garden, because location is at top of Saint Michel. So, you will se the garden while you are walking to top of Saint Michel

Loved our afternoon in the gardens, they are beautiful. Lots of chairs to sit on and a great cafe. Would love to revisit.

Very beautiful. Nice to spend time for a family with young children as there are different things available for children (pony ride, puppet show, small boat etc.)

We bought a locally baked baguette, some locally made cheese, and a couple of tomatoes from a small market and had a wonderful little picnic sitting near the south end of this garden. We were lucky...it was sunny and 75 degrees although it had been cooler and rainy for much of the previous few weeks. If you're in Paris and looking for a place of relaxation with history and people watching, this could be a great option. Also, if you happen to have small kids with you, there is a large playground here where some steam could be blown off.

I love Jardin du Luxembourg -- it is easy to enter and just take a few minutes break from the busy streets of Paris. Lots of benches and chairs, in sun or shade, fountains, beautiful gardens, many pathways for walking, play area for the kids. I was in Paris on business, attending a conference, but went through the Lux as often as I could on my way to and from the conference venue or at lunch time. Paris has lots of beautiful parks, but this one is very special as it's so centrally located on the Left Bank.
