Nice big park with beautiful gardens and buildings. Negative was that you couldn't sit on the grass. Not far from the hotels of Montparnasse or St Germain and close to many restaurants.

the palace Louxembourg and very huge park in hearth of Paris... In the park you can find the real palms, beautiful fountains and you can use very special chairs (the chair for one person only), you lay down on the grass and listen to music, drink some wine and have very nice time ....and relax of course
My 8 year old son loved exploring and playing here. It was beautiful and conveniently located. The flowers and plants were stunning.
Just perfect for a nice morning walk, a stop for a crèpe and coffee and just enjoying the scene. Don't miss this, it's very nice!
We arrived to Luxembourg gardens by walking, after visiting Notre Dame. It was a nice sunny day, and the garden was full of people (mostly students) who were relaxing at the grass.
There was a public bathroom, I think you had to pay 50 cents of euro to use it, but was not crowded at all, and clean.
There are plenty of benches and of course you have an area to sit at the grass, have a picnic, and enjoy the marvellous view!
