I had a pain au chocolate and it was the best croissant I have had in the 2 weeks I have been here. My other favorite was at Petit Versailles on the corner of Francois Miron in the 4eme. My husband had the chocolate eclair and found it best of the 3 pastisseries we have been to but not fabulous.

The most amazing eclairs EVER! We ordered 3 different kinds and all amazing. The patisserie is on a foodie street. There are a variety of cheese, wine, fruit and veg, seafood and bakery stores in the area. We collected items for a picnic and took the metro to the gardens of Musee Rodin and we were in heaven!

The choco eclair and the religieuse are powerful in taste, excellent presentation. The 'ganache' does not drop when you cut the pastry. During week end time, you can get the season eclair also yummi. A must !

Stopped by patisserie Stohrer and was very impressed by the lovely pastries they had on offer. Would definitely recommend the tarte aux abricots! A bit on the pricy side but definitely worth it just for the experience.

Terrific macaroons, baguettes and gelato to bring home and enjoy with your family. The staff was extremely helpful and very kind to us Americans who did not speak much French.
