This is a very good stop in the area, particularly for a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel. This is a very tame ride, but the views are well worth the time: Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, Seine, overall Paris. It is for kids of all ages.

What a stunning way to take in all the major landmarks in Paris. The only downside was the lady who sold us the tickets, looked like she wanted to somewhere else.

My husband wanted to go here because of the historical significance but unfortunately they were setting up for some event and it was all barricaded off! Otherwise, it looked like it would have been cool. It's surrounded by a busy street/roundabout, but easy to walk around. It is a short visit, and on the way to Champs Elysees and Arc de Triumph.

The tall Egyptian obelisk draws your attention to this large public square. There is also a large fountain. At the center of the city the square hosted many historic events. Now it draws tourists from around the world and serves as a crossroads to reach different sections of the city.

Great names have been executed on this square. So this square breaths history. This square and its surroundings is a beautiful piece of Paris.
