Awesome building. The large paintings magnificent. Don't miss the crypt below (Victor Hugo, Marie Curie, etc.) Also included with your museum pass and within walking distance to Musee de Cluny and Luxembourg Gardens.

Enjoyed our visit to this iconic building. Breathtaking architecture. Interesting crypt. Good that students are free entry. I did the behind the scenes tour some years ago which was great though we couldn’t do it this time as there wasn’t one until the afternoon. Well worth a visit and try and do the extra tour.

Just another amazing and beautiful site to visit in Paris. We walked for hours viewing and exploring on our second last day. We stumbled across the Pantheon and decided to take a look. It’s just off a main thoroughfare, and surrounded by two other landmark buildings of the era.

The Pantheon reminded me of a more toned-down St. Peter's in Rome. It's a jaw-dropping building and the dome is really something to see. I suspect it's not on the radar of a lot of tourists because I walked right in. The crypt level is reverential as you'd expect, but it was unfortunate to see the netting set up along the ceilings along the perimeter of the building. I had heard they've having a problem with chunks of the ceilings falling down. Hopefully, they'll secure the funds to repair it because this beautiful building should be lovingly preserved.

This building is marvelous on the inside and outside. It seems a lot come here for the crypts, though. Victor Hugo, Marie Curie and Voltaire are just a few of the names of those with crypts in here. Even though it was a fun adventure to see those crypts and explore the stunning architect of this building, I do feel it was a bit overpriced.
