“Lovely Place, plenty to do, but most cost”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

Went with the family, there's a fee to enter, and a fee for every ride (you can buy books of tickets on the gate, which work out slightly cheaper) Inside there are play areas, water games, petting zoo, some decent rides, and a couple of bears. Spent most of the day here, but it's quite expensive.

Centrally located, it's a nice space of greenery near the Financial district in Paris. Well worth a visit, the kids will love it but bring some extra cash!!!

“Day at Jardin d'Acclimatation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

When i came to Paris, i was wondering where to take a 1.5yr old to that would be with minimal stress and great satisfaction. This place nailed it both ways. Has a number of rides that younger children can board, pretty wide acreage and a mini-zoo. The entry price was also pocket-friendly (less than 3 euros per adult while the baby got in free).

I'd recommend it for families with little ones and trying to look for a substitute to Disneyland.

“Expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Yes, the kids would have a blast. My 4 year old son had a whale of a time! He loved the roller coaster rides.

However, you have to pay to enter and pay for the rides e.g. boat ride, roller coasters, etc (with the exchange rate we had coming from SEAsia, it ended up being a very expensive afternoon). And some rides need more tickets (eg camel rides - 2 tickets instead of one).

The marionette show was good - they ensured that no adults would sit in the middle and block the childrens' view. But yes, it was in French, and yes you had to queue up to get in.

Toilets were clean, but not that easily accessible. We ended up waiting almost 20 minutes in the queue near self-cleaning one the marionette theatre. However, it was free.

They had a splash park and many playgrounds - those were all free and very crowded when I was there. They also had a small mini-type zoo.

The good thing is that it is entirely devoted to the children, which was great, because my son had been doing stuff that we wanted to do in Paris.

As a tourist, I would have definitely paid for the rides. You can go there and just pay the per entry and use the playground facilities, etc, but I think that would cater to those who already know the area quite well and have been there a few times. I couldn't imagine going there with my son and telling him, sorry, I wasn't going to pay for all of that - just go for the free stuff - and it was our first time there. If we had been there many times, before, sure, I'd do that, but I felt it wasn't fair to him.

“Great for little kids”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2013

A family with especially little kids could spend a whole day in this garden. There are many different attractions, such as activity playgrounds, funfair, "plage", zoo, small train, deforming mirrors etc. It is nice to walk around, you may have pic nic or lunch at one of the restaurants. You can also taste the faboulous hot chocolate in angelina cafe. You should also know that you have to pay en entry ticket, not expensive though and of course in the funfair you pay again.

“lovely place for children”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

We were at loss for something to do and this place was amazing, just 3 Euros each to get in. There is loads to do for free inside and you can pay to go on the rides. My 5 year old loved it. We didn't take him any swim wear which was a shame as the splash park looked like loads of fun so if your going please take some ! We took a picnic, but there are places to buy food which we didn't try. Loads of animals including a massive brown bear, camels and a lot of birds/chickens. All in all we spent a great afternoon here for very little cost.
