We arrived early afternoon, there was no queue. Paris in general was not busy. We were kicked out at 6 oclock closing time. There is so much to see here, we didn't manage to see everything and we don't mess about in museums. Must have walked kms in there. Lots of tanks, guns, uniforms and informative historical maps and notes. Some great video machines with headphones explaining how important battles developed. 14 euros entry price. Well worth it. Give yourself 5-6 hours though.

A must see when in Paris truly unbelievable. Never knew Napoleon was “King of Rome!” He definitely didn’t lack confidence

I went there because I had some spare time. I found it much more interesting than I expected. The WW2 part is very well documented. I really liked to see how weapons and uniforms have improved over the years. I just wish I had more time to see Napoleon's tomb.

Many weapons and artifacts from the time of Napoleon. My husband is a soldier so it was really great for him to see all of the weapons of the past! Great photos outside!

I didn't expect to learn much or enjoy the WW1 and 2 parts of the museum, but I really loved the French perspective on these wars. I do think there was a definite French slant to things, but it was also interesting to look at these wars a little differently and focus on different victories than we are used to. I also enjoyed the trip in to see Napolean's Tomb. The staff was very helpful - I am disabled and they made sure to help me find elevators- I'm not sure if this is normally an issue, I was there on a day that a giant military celebration was occurring and parts of the museum was off limits for safety reasons (Macron was there).
