“Great place for your morning pastry or anytime treat”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is a great little gem just a bit from the Odeon stop. Order your pastries and prepared food at the main counter near the door...there'll probably be a line. Then take your receipt to the back, bread counter for your baguette and croissant and pay for everything. Their pastries and bread were simple but delicious. It's busy so don't dally...know what you want before they are ready to help you. Don't miss the great indoor market just half a block away...pricey but worth the treat.

This is, I swear, the first time that my nose prohibits me to continue walking and makes me enter a bakery! This place is like heaven... best croissants in Paris, and all the sweet things they have are simply too much! Don´t miss it! It´s worth whatever you have to walk to get there!

“An incredible patisserie”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

First of all, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, I want everyone to know it is a MACARON - not a MACAROON. Macaroons are made with coconut and bear no resemblance to a macaron which is made with almond flour and come in many flavors and have all types of fillings. Everyone will have a favorite. Mine are caramel, citron (lemon) and cafe(coffee). I have tried many different macarons (Hermes, Lauduree) and I think Mulot's are by far the best.

This store has much more than macarons. They make sandwiches, quiches and other prepared food. Of course they sell all kinds of bread, pastries and croissants, but their cakes and tarts are delicious works of art. Their tart citron (lemon tart) and tart a la orange are so tasty. Their tart tatin (upside down apple tart) is also a big favorite of mine.

They are open every day but Wednesday. You can smell the wonderful fragrance a block away. Just follow your nose!!

“Best macaroons in Paris!”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

Ok, so part of my Paris trip was to try the macaroons at 3 of the most noted patisseries in Paris, Gerard mulot being one of them. It is tempting to get so many others items when in here as it all looks wonderful! I did grab a chocolat au pain here and it was delicious! But back to the macaroons..... These were my favorite of the 3 shops I tried in Paris..... Yes, they were that good!!

“Try the tarts!”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

This pastry shop is a real gem in Saint Germain, I was desperately trying every day during my holidays spent in Paris to have a route that allowed me to step by and try their delicious cakes, tarts, pastries, breads etc. Macarons are also splendid here at a more reasonable price than the ones at Pierre Herme, yet still expensive.
I fell in love with the tarts, out of which the one with spinach and smoked duck was absolutey amazing.
Definetely recommended.
