Hey this place is crazy busy, get tickets on line, I walked right in. Lots to see, didn't get a tour. Had a good map, and I only wanted to see a few things, was there for four hours, had a quick lunch inside, not bad, good price, you are at the Louvre after all.

We did our tour with the headsets. I find the headsets cumbersome. The displays are amazing and grand. We were a bit surprised at the Moan Lisa but not an art person myself I am sure that she deserves all this attention. I particularly like the Athen area. This place is huge so save up your energy.. The entrance from the metro was very convenient. The attached shopping complex is a clever plan.

Since I've already visited Louvre museum couple of years ago, I didn't go inside this time - not really interested in paintings, or art in general. But the surroundings are beautiful. We relaxed and made photos near the pyramid and fountains. Really nice place to spend some time.

The locals will tell you you need at least 4 months to go through everything in the Louvre. They're right. Beautiful artwork & sculptures. We can an outside company doing our group tour & had headphones where we could hear her talking to us about each piece was saw throughout the museum which was nice.
