I've had many reports of people trying to visit the museum during the high season and queuing for hours even to get in. The winter months during either early morning or late afternoon pretty much guarantee you in. Otherwise avoid or prepare to que for over 2/3 hours.

The eiffel tower is undeniably the symbol of Paris. The views from the top are really beautiful. Make sure you buy your tickets in advance before getting there so you can skip the line!

Some very beautiful things, once again the grimace of the Moaning Lisa failed to charm but two other beautiful De Vincis that everyone walks past are well worth a look, including the stunning Madonnas of the rocks, the later French works are generally overblown and disappointing, the interior of the building is worth the entrance fee alone, but go on a Sunday, it's free entrance day!

November was a great time to visit the Louvre. There crowds were minimal and using the Paris Pass got us in very quickly on a cold day. Everything about the Louvre is impressive. I've seen most of the major European galleries and landmarks but the scale of the overall complex alone is extraordinary. You've got to plan your time. It would probably take two full days to do the place full justice.

If you love art of any kind, this is a must stop in Paris. If you love architecture, this is a fabulous place. We spent almost as much time looking up as looking around. We didn't get tickets ahead of time, but arrived at 9:10am, and got in line. They opened 10 mins early and we were inside by 9:35. Within 2 hrs the place was packed. But, still, don't miss this if you're in Paris.
