Right off the Champs - Elysees this place treated us like royalty. The room was excellent. The breakfast each day superb. The front desk service was exceptional. Next time you are there say hello to Jeremy at the desk and Benoit at the door. Just two of the many great people that made our stay so great.

We booked this hotel as part of the amex fine hotels program. However, we were sadly disappointed. The photos shown online are very deceiving. The hallways, elevators and the room were old and in desperate need of renovations. The bathroom was tiny and gross. I am sorry to have to leave this review but please freshen up this hotel!

Tiny rooms that are in need of serious overhaul the bar is nice but service borders on comical, you can sit and watch frustrated patrons leave when they are not attended to. It may have been something in its day but that day is long past. They also tried to charge us for food & beverage on check out insisting we exceeded our credit.

Room Tip: Don't let them pass off same quaility room as an upgrade, Do not let them charge you for food not eaten

Dear guest,

Thank you for sharing your review, although of course I am awfully sorry that you had an unpleasant experience.

At the Lancaster, we cherish the history and heritage of Emile Wolf. Over the years we have always tried to share this passion with all of our guests and recreate a magical atmosphere with elements such as attentive service and French way of life.

Any suggestions or opinions related to our service or our facilities is highly taken into consideration and, if in any way improvements can be made be well assured that my will is to achieve this goal.

Feel free to contact me at your convenience to precise your feeling of being overcharged and if there was something wrong in our process.

We are looking forward for a new occasion to welcoming you back and provide you with our professionalism, politeness and best care, which are indeed the basis of Lancaster Customer Care Philosophy.

Yours Sincerely.

Nearly everything about the Hotel Lancaster - the professional and friendly staff, the restaurant, and the hotel conditions - was superb. The location is also very convenient regarding the Parisian sights, the Metro, and very nice restaurants (if one chooses not to visit the great one at the hotel). The only downside to the hotel during my visit was the service time in the lounge. The lounge is lovely, especially with a beautiful courtyard access, but the service was a bit slow.Otherwise, it was a hotel that I will always remember and would visit again! I would recommend it to anyone interested in a lovely, small luxury hotel in Paris.

Room Tip: Courtyard view rooms were blissfully quiet.

Our first time here and we will be back. Wonderful old hotel and a central location on Rue de Berri just off Champs Élyésees. Helpful friendly staff and great rooms. Interior courtyard patio. Walking distance to all the sites and attractions. Very private. Very elegant.
